Gigantic New MOBA...ish

Today I wanted to do a quick shout out for a new MOBA...ish game called Gigantic. A old co-worker of mine was able to get a chance to interview/play this pre-alpha build. Check it out!

I am glad the genre is expanding in different directions and not just stay as a top down 3 lane game.

This is probably a MOBA I could get into. It seems more like an action/platformer MOBA, and since I love action-platformers, this is right up my alley. I've never been a fan of "whale on the enemy while they walk past you" kind of mechanics. I like the idea of combat that has real hitback and physics to it. granted, I'm not sure if this game has that, but I at least see some characters being knocked back by attacks so it seem like some attacks will at least have some kind of immediate physical effect, like any good action platformer. The artstyle is fantastic as well.

 

Definitely on my watchlist.

I really like the art style of the game. I think i could really get into this. I feel like there could be so many different characters to unlock and play with that there would be hours of gameplay. Im guessing it will be free-to-play and i hope it wont be pay-to-win.
