Fable: The Lost Chapters

7 posts in this topic

I got Fable: The Lost Chapters on the Steam Summer Sale and have played it for a few hours. I got to level 8 I think and am making an evil character, just wondering who else has played / is playing Fable: TLC and how are you making your character (good / evil, warrior / rogue / mage, etc)?

I played it, it's one of my favorite games. I was a good archer/warrior i think.

I've played through it too many times to count, especially back when it was new in 2004. I usually play as a good Paladin type character who uses heal, barrier, ect. I've played as good/neutral/evil wizards, rogues, archers, and warriors though. As well as combinations there-of. The only combination factor I don't really enjoy is the evil part. I think I've only finished the game once as an evil character.

Edit: Why is my text so small? I set the font size to 24 trying to make it legible. It was originally so small that you couldn't read it at all.

I've played the normal fable (lost chapters is the same with some extra content). I got stuck at a certain point though and it was too hard to get past and I lost motivation to keep playing. When I was a kid though, although I didn't have an xbox then, at friend's houses we would mess around in the game and go on rampages in towns and our minds were kind of blown by the freedom of it.

Whenever given the choice I make a good character. I made my character a spellsword type as I used magic and swords. Avos Tear/Sword of Aeons + Berserk + Slow Time + Multi Strike = Everything dies. (And these swords don't even do the most damage in the game, unless you play the original Fable.)

Heyyo,

I made a good character, a warrior. The magic system in Fable: The Lost Chapters does work pretty good, but it wasn't as effective as Fable 3 where I made a hybird warrior/mage which worked great. I always ended up playing a good character... maybe I'm just too nice of a guy heh.

I loved Fable. The first one and the third are definitely fantastic titles. The second one has a decent story but it's definitely not as kickass as the others. I would have still preferred to play Fable 2 on PC but such is life. :P
