Trouble sleeping.

Last night, I tried going to bed early, but I still couldn't sleep.

Eventually, I had to take a sleep formula pill.

I've had to take a sleep formula pill for the last three nights.

Am I an insomniac?

No, you're trying to actually get sleep. An insomniac would be trying his/her best to not.

you could be...

But since your saying that you went to earlier than you normally do can also be the reason to why you're having trouble sleeping as your body has to adjust to when you're going to bed.

It could also be based on what you did before going to bed, playing computer games, watching movies and listening to music are some of the triggers that keeps you from sleeping.

 

And if you're having trouble still, try doing different things, you could always try searching on yourube for something called ASMR Sleep which is something that "tingles" as far as i know. Helps people sleep though.

You could also try to do some push ups just before going to bed or some other small exercise that will make you a bit more exhausted and tired. 

or just simply read a book, it does not have to be a interesting one, the more boring the more likely it is that you will fall asleep.

I slept just fine on Sunday and Monday, though.

Who says that you have to take a pill?

If it's yourself that means that you have to take 1 each week, then it's more of an addiction than a dependence.

Try not taking the pills for 2 days (including night time) and try going to bed earlier than you usually try too. Then while you are resting in your bed, closing your eyes and such. Try leaving the television on or keep your computer running with the sound on and playing a show you like  through ep's 1 to current episode in order without you having to touch your mouse. Now while the show is playing with the sound loud enough for you to hear it but not loud enough to keep you awake and just try going to sleep. 

It works for most people I know

Who says that you have to take a pill?

If it's yourself that means that you have to take 1 each week, then it's more of an addiction than a dependence.

I used to only have to take it once a month. Then, once every two weeks.

Man my sleep is way worse. I often go to bed at like 3am then wake up early anyways. I recommend taking melatonin supplements and drink chamomile tea before going to bed.

How do I stop it?

My friends and I have effed up sleep schedules as well.  I know one thing that has helped me personally, but you are not going to like it.  Exercising.  Lack of sleep can be related to the body not getting enough exercise.  And don't eat before bed....although, maybe turkey can help you sleep naturally.  But yeah, I hate the problem too!

If you're having doubts about your medication, or possible addiction, you need to talk to your personal doctor ASAP.

 

Giving advice on how to sleep better Is fine, but It's a very bad idea to give advice on medication, without qualifications. It can actually be quite dangerous.

Change your diet and quit spending a huge amount of time on computer? If your spending all day on a computer your gonna have energy to spare and sitting around all day your body wont be tired when you decide to tuck it in.

It doesn't matter what It is, no one here is qualified to tell you If you should stop taking it.

 

Like I said before; If you're concerned about your medication, or possible addiction, See A Doctor. Anything else would be irresponsible.
