TMNT movie. Good or bad? Hmmm....

10 posts in this topic

Review for this movie is up. Things that are most definitely in this movie:

CGI action scenes with explosions (of course) with some cool moments

Megan Fox

Lazily done story

Stupid comedic side character

Pizzas

The turtles that either look menacing or looks like fucking shit

Ending that looks exactly like the Amazing Spiderman movie ending.

Based on the review, it's pretty much like Transformers 4. If you enjoy that movie, you're going to like this one. And it's going to set nostalgia for kids that never sees the previous movies in the past, while pissing off people that has seen the past movies.

I liked the Transformers movies before this latest one. Maybe it's cause I was younger, but I thought they were pretty good movies. I hated Age of Extinction, so I really don't know if I'll enjoy the TMNT movie. I'm guessing it'll probably be a "meh" in my book, but Michael Bay is very low on my producer list now.

transformers 1 was Okay.

TF 2 was awful TF 3 was bretty bad

I went to see TF 4 with my bar set really really low but actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Actually I thought TF4 was less stupid than Amazing Spider man 2.

TMNT though.... I dunno I'll probably just go see it an make my mind up but I am not expecting anything great. Also it's not out in the UK until OCTOBER. And I think they're renaming it just 'Ninja Turtles' for no goddamn reason.

I never planned on seeing it, not even for nostalgia sake. It just looked bad from the trailers, to me at least.

Another review is up.

And looks like it's a cool movie, if you're shit faced hammered drunk. I don't know if that's good or bad but at least it's better than dogshit.

*sigh* Well, it's as expected. It was a 33% on Rotten Tomatoes and now its down to 17% with one of the positive reviews coming in from the illustrious IGN.  I just wanted this to be good.  Guess I'll have to skip this one, but would it be to extreme to demand Michael Bay's head on a spike?

Actually Bay is the producer. The director is Jonathan Lesbianman, the one behind Wrath of the Titans, which is way better than the previous movie, Battle Los Angeles, and that Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel.

Actually get both their heads on a spike.

A circle jerk of awful creation.  If Uwe Boll ever worked with them a hole in space and time would appear and our universe would be unmade.

If that pathetic lowlife ever attempted to work for them, I think even Bay will reject him completely.
