It is. Its not top notch, but I enjoyed the combat. It is very short though. You'll be able to beat it in about 3 hours or less.

I'm a huge fan of the franchise (as you could probably tell by my signature) and was thinking of getting this but I've heard mixed reviews and now I'm not so sure.....

It really does depend on the person. I think in most people's case it was the price being the more swaying reason if they found what they saw at least had a "go ahead" appeal to them. Though it was short I did enjoy playing it and it hardly takes anytime to level your bending abilities. Whenever I learned a new one I would just apply the item I found that allows me to level my abilities faster, though at the cost of half your health, and would just repeat the third stage until it was leveled. There are 8 chapters / levels and I think the most I ever spent on one was 21 minutes if I recall correctly.

I also did enjoy playing the mini-game section of Pro-Bending League, though I think they would have really gotten ahead on that if they made it co-op. I mean imagining 6 actually people doing 3 vs 3 in that would be intense. You really have to have your hand-eye-coordination down when you have water, fire, and discs being thrown and countered back and forth between 6 individuals.
