Marvel x Attack on Titan!?

22 posts in this topic

You read right! Marvel in the next 2 weeks is going to publish a series of comics featuring Attack on Titan! I think this is a really cool idea and just adore the fact to see Spider-Man fighting some titans! I think Marvel will win (with heavy losses) because of their powers, Jean Grey, Thor and Ant-Man can make some massive hits!

What do you guys think? The hype is on!

Last time if heard it was going to be just a "what if" scenario featuring spiderman, which makes sense seeing how Spiderman and the SnK guys move around the city in a similar manner

The titans don't even stand a chance against Marvel universe. It would be an extremely easy win for Marvel even without higher tier heroes like Thor, who can probably take out every single titan by himself. They really have to limit the Marvel cast to keep things interesting. Characters like Spider-man and wolverine would be perfect for this.

One word?

NO!

I have nothing against Marvel, but this might be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Then you don't know comic books

Well Marvel was collaborated with Toei and made Battle Fever J which Miss America (Pink Ranger) was inspired from Captain America and even they made a Tokusatsu version of Spider-Man with Giant Robots.

Well, I don't read comics, that's true. But I don't really find any appeal in superheroes. At least not the ones with random superpowers.

i agree with Emphase why is this a thing

i like marvel and AoT is ok (in my opinion) but does there really need to be a cross over

I think it's because Stan Lee really likes manga.

He even made his own and helped make others. Ultimo(a?) comes to mind.

And it's cool and all, but I just don't see it working out. We're essentially talking about a mix of two different art styles.

Either way, I don't know why I'm against it. I don't like reading in the first place. I guess I just don't like Shingeki. At least as far as the anime is concerned.

We all have our opinions are I respect yours and everyone else's. I just think this is a really good idea to cross over with some Manga, it could lead to more interesting collaborations like what if Naruto and Captain America worked together or Luffy and Mr Fantastic met?

But we'll have to wait and see what it'll be like when released.

Next thing you know, Disney owns anime/manga.

Well, they have the distribution rights for Ghibli films

I don't see how the Titans even stand a chance if avengers are involved. He can rip the colossal titan apart with ease.

I won't lie, it was rather enticing, but titans just don't fit into the Marvel world. They just feel way too much out of place. Oh, best part about the comic? No Eren! Fucking useless whiny chimp.

but on the same note there wont be Levi, personally one of three characters i liked from AoT (Mikasa and the one chick who studied the titans being the other two)

i may not care for this idea but i will say i think the art style they used for this is pretty good
