There was an unofficial AJSA Guild in Diablo 3 when the expansion came out, I was part of it, but eventually stopped playing and went on to a different game.

Here is the thread for it, but I don't know how many people are still active.

Take in consideration that we're most likely gonna play on EU servers. ;)

Well, they game is not region locked as far as I'm aware, but that might result in some serious lag.

I think I out-Diabloed myself on Diablo 2. I did put in some good time On Diablo 3, but I couldn't keep playing it endlessly like the previous game. Couldn't really get into PoE or Torchlight 2, probably for the same reason.

Same for me with WoW. It's the only MMO I recognize. Probably because I've put too much time into it.

You do realize there are other mmo's that play absolutely nothing like wow or the countless mmo games that involve standing still in front of enemies pushing cooldowns right? Not that its my first choice bu its a good example, world of tanks. There is just no way you can be "burnt out" of mmo's of vastly different playstyles cuz of too much wow.

Now if you intentionally AVOID mmos because you fear losing too mich time to them like you did wow, thats a whole other story.

Anyway ive seen so many people talk about disinterest towards nearly every diablo-like game after diablo2, I too would be in the same boat except ive tried and adored titanquest. If you have any interest at all at finding another (you DID try poe and torchlight 2 after all), you should try it imo. Frankly i think titanquest is by far the best of them, including d2.

It's the latter about MMO's for me. I hate leveling and questing in general which is partly why I never got fully into other MMO's. It just takes a rather lot of time to get oneself familiar with the vastness that is an MMO.

As for D3 and the like, I just like the gameplay. I don't necessarily like the grindy nature of them (brings back memories of MU Online), but in general I like them. At least as long as they don't include min/ maxing your stat points by getting level ups. That's the only thing I dislike about games as such. Same with over-abundant talent trees. If it takes too much to make any meaningful progress in terms of character skill development, then it's not for me.

Frankly I think the whole "talent tree" concept is a stupid ass system that should never have become any kind of a standard. They nearly always fall victim to cookie-cutter builds, and discourage players from trying their own outside of those because doing so may require you "wasting" points into things you know are crap just to try something you may think is a fun or viable alternative to the cookie cutter. I don't understand why game designers seem to hold on to stupid ideas and make em standard. Things like useless and dumb as fuu escort quests...Rare drops (who has fun farming one thing for over an hour just for a rare drop? nobody, that's who.. oh great, let's make sure all our games have such a mechanic!), and "mash the 'x' key as fast as you can to win" sequences.
