Cant deny it pretty and well made. I honestly wish this was the latest X series game not what came out a while back.

Also, bought it lol. Saw Angerbeard play it for a while and i had to have it.

Defiantly want get Elite Dangerous eventually. The deal will be sealed when players begin posting videos of themselves getting into trouble; when the Oculus Rift gets a consumer release; or when I get bored of EVE Online.

The former will probably sell me the game; if 2014 taught me anything, it is to not buy games on launch.

Eh, I was gonna get in to this game but I decided against it for two reasons. The fact that I already have such a huge investment in Star Citizen, and the one big glaring problem with this exploration focused space sim game. What the hell happens when all the star systems are found and all the planets are explored?

I'll wait for Star citizen for the combat, universe, and community I want, and this games shininess in regards to its massive unexplored universe will wear off quite quickly.

They'll make more?

I'll get this game because it's cheaper and see if I could get into it and get Star Citizen when it comes out.

Not falling for the hype train, and devs/pubs need to stop calling games GOTY IN JANUARY.

Great game, but it still has some issues it needs to work out. Like fixing it's social tools so i can Bounty Hunt with friends and we both get paid.

Elite isn't just exploration focused. Like with Star Citizen you have the freedom to play how you want. I'm a Bounty Hunter mainly that dips into cargo hauling once in a while. Sold discovery scanner for FSD Interdictor so i can pull people from FTL and fight them one on one in my single seat starfighter.

Both Yahtzee and Totalbiscuit liked it quite a bit:

As for me, I'm not entirely sure how I'd like a simulator like this. Sure I enjoyed the X-Wing and Tie Fighter games, but those were combat centric, while this has way more than that. Yahtzee brings up a good point about listening to something while playing, which I do for a lot of games anyway (mostly open world games, which this qualifies as), but I'm still not sure about this. Maybe I'll try it when the price goes down, way down, and when (or if) it gets on Steam.
