Should I buy Elder Scrolls Online for PS4

I love the Elder Scrolls Series and has been playing since Oblivion. Do you also know if the PS4 version will require monthly payments.

ESO will be on a buy to play platform when the game comes to console, the monthly subscription is going to become an optional premium. As for wether the game will be worth it, that really comes down to you.

I personally did not think it was worth it on PC at release, especially with the monthly fee. However, now that the monthly fee is going away, I will take a look at what they've changed since release and might give it another look on PS4.

Debatable, I was one of the few who was somewhat okay with the beta (I do not play MMO's usually so I do not have a lot to compare it to) but for me personally it was problematic for groups. Maybe it has been fixed but it is something you should investigate for yourself. I would NOT pre-order it at the very least.

On console, the only other choice (and I would say, a better choice) would be Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It's a better game with far superior social features, has cross platform play between PS3, PS4 and PC and you can get it now. ESO Doesn't come to console until june.
