Spider-Man to enter Marvel Cinematic Universe.

IT'S HAPPENING!!!

Finally, Sony has (presumably) completely abandoned Sinister Six and The Amazing Spider-Man and has instead partnered with Marvel to bring him into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He's set to premiere in an MCU movie in 2016, and will star in his own new movie (which seems to not be Amazing Spider-Man 3) come July 2017.

Now the question is how much will Sony be meddling with Spider-Man in the MCU.

Not a huge surprise this but still a shame that there will clearly be another reboot of Spider-Man so soon. (Even thougb I really hated ASM2 I never dislikedAndrew Garfield as Spider-Man and would be happy to see him stay)

Does make sense though given that Spider-Man is basically Marvel's Mascot and has been for many years - it's only recently that they started to push Iron Man more and more and since his solo movie trilogy has closed they will be looking for more characters to keep the momentum going.

I think there's also a feeling that if a film is part of the MCU then it becomes a 'MUST SEE' as it links in to characters you already know even if the actual movie isn't that great and you might otherwise have skipped it.

Also, since we know this will be yet another reboot of Spiderman, it's safe to say Andrew wont be returning as our webbing swinging hero. So Becomes the new game, "Who's gonna play Spiderman?" If we have to put votes and bets on it I say Eddie Redmayne. After seeing him in The Theory of Everything he could play both that geeky Peter we all know, and also being some what of a witty cool Peter at the sametime.

Sony still has full creative control of Spider Man. Yay?

They still got the rights, so ya if they don't like what Marvel is doing they can say stop. But in reality, I don't think we got to worry about Sony going crazy with creative control power. For one they need help with Spiderman, they wouldn't have made a deal with Marvel if they didn't. So I am guessing they are down for anything. As long as they make their money I think we are safe from them going crazy.

I just hope Spider-Man benefits from the MCU like a lot of the heroes so far. It'd suck to finally see him interact with Cap and co. only to see him flounder.

From the look at this, that might be what will happen with him for awhile now. He might be a character who crosses over to the other movies (Like Hulk/Black Widow has been for awhile now.) That's not a bad thing. Just means we'll see him in alot of movies.

Marvel has already said he'll appear in a Marvel movie and not his own. The question now is, which one? It very gutsy to have him appear in Civil War, as it is already in production and probably over soon. It's probably a safe bet to say if he is in Civil War it'll be a ending credit scene or a throw away line. It's probably most likely he'll appear in Avengers Infinity Gauntlet movie's. After a few cross over movies we'll probably get our solo Spiderman Marvel movie. Which wont have a backstory. Seeing how Kevin refuses to see a need for one, which is true.

In the end, we call be as happy as Spiderman probably is right now.

I'm actually a bit disappointing. I really enjoyed the Amazing Spider Man movies (even the 2nd, which is my favorite Spiderman movie) I loved Andrew Garfield as SpiderMan & Perter Parker. And I was really interested in the Sinister Six movie.

I just hope between Ant Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, and Inhumans. Spidey doesn't get lost in the Shuffle. The MCU is getting overcrowded as it is.

Well now the Sinister Six movie has been delayed by this. I'm happy to see this but I also hope the other movies that are being made that are tied to Spiderman stay in production I really ant to see the Venom movie come through still.

Sinister Six still happening?  Thought they were scrapping it with all the hullabaloo that's been going on.

Well that's why I hope the Venom movie isn't canceled. That's suppose to of course have Venom but also rumored Carnage might be in it as well.

Unless the next X-Men film tanks hard Fox will never let them back over to Marvel. And please no one suggest that no one go watch the next X-Men film so thats the case. Let it happen naturally for crying out loud.

YOu know if Marvel gets more and more creative abilities over Spiderman with due time (if Sony will allow such a thing) then they have to try and do a Spider-verse saga or something I mean come on anytime more then one Spiderman is together it's epic.

I think it will be interesting to see who they'll cast to be the next Peter Parker. For the life of me I can't think of any suggestions off the top of my head.
