My experience: No matter how good you think you are, how many kills you get, or how long your win streak is... soon SMITE's awesome matchmaking is going to give you horrible team after horrible team to counter your win streak with a losing streak. Some games were close, but some games I had teammates who'd solo in Arena 1v5 without waiting for the team. Or sometimes you get an ok team, then fight people with 60 Gods mastered, Diamond, clan when your team is like you.. new. Probably being in Australia limits the pool. Or I suck. :/ On the biggest Scylla losing streak after a winning streak.. at least I got BuccaNeith still 3-0

I was waiting for the new map before getting into Conquest, but tonight my internet is being a pain so better luck next time.

Hades is weird because he's listed as a guardian, but he's more of a mage. http://tiermonster.com/god/14/hades These are the top pro builds for him. Late game he can get wrecked because he's fairly easy to kill near the end of the game.

I think that you have beginner matchmaking till you hit level 10, afterwards, you will be teamed up with other newbies vs full/partial premade veteran teams (70%+ in my case), thats why I quit it. It kills fun in-game when you almost cant win if you dont do premade. To be even worse, I barelly seen any level 3 mastery in my team, while I would usually fight at least 2-3 level 3+ mastery heroes in almost every game after level 10. I wonder why people never mention non-existant matchmaker...

That is best tip, play premades only after level 10

I started playing Yesterday, gotta say its quite a different experience than Other Moba typish games. My buddies recommended me to play every single God atleast once. Say i know what some of the other God's do. Same thing in other moba's so that's what i am gonna do. u should too ^^

yup i trying to do this . Example everyone i encounter say they hate Ullr. I try it one day and to be honest i love him. You just have to remember all yours moves and you are ok for all type of encounter.

I'm fairly new to smite (only play it on my xbox one) but i have found that finding combos with other players is the best way to learn your character. For example i play as hades usually and my friend plays odin. We have a combo where he throws down his cage ultimate, i burrow underneath and into the cage to hit enemies, silence them, then pop my ultimate while odin lynches them. Then i use the slam and that usually kills 1 or 2 gods between us depending if they have a jump/burrow ability to escape or not.

If you can, find someone to play regularly with, and try out character combos, because you can do better with communication.

I'm no pro but i'll say this though, just try out different gods and get a feel for the right one as many players would say. My only issue in game is listening to people yell at me for going against players who are vets of the game when i'm just a level 7 right now lol. Yet my team could  easily smash them but decide not to help me.
