While it's true you can pay to unlock those packs and characters, you can also earn all those things in-game. It's not a pay to win game at all in my opinion.

I don't think it was a good idea for Joe to be spending so much money on decks. And also he claimed the "line" kept going back and forward at the end but it actually snapped to the center of the last card it touched, so it's not like it's rigged.

I don't see the point of RNG, why don't they just let you buy the cards that you want?

I've played a few hours today, but for once, I completely agree with joe on every level here.

It's a bit cloudy as to whether it's pay-to-win or not, but I'll just say this:

It's incredibly frustrating being repeatedly instakilled by someone with a vastly superior card, because it nullifies almost all skill invoved in playing. Making these higher level cards almost unobtainable for a reasonable amount of time (10 games per standard case), or money makes this doubly annoying.

The game as a whole is a standard FPS affair, made worse by the addition of an unfair system.

The thing is they did, they put all the cards in the shop and allow you to buy them. The only thing is they're bronze, and thats all you need. Cards that are higher than bronze are just for cosmetics, they don't do anything better than bronze card that are in the shop.

How are cards "vastly" superior? The best offensive perk available are quick draw, explodydendron, bigger blast, and drilled, none of these affect your damage. I've seen zfz members play with default cards and still out perform most people simply cause they know the map and have better aim. Cards above bronze are just cosmetics, no further benefits. Also heres a list of available perks: http://postimg.org/image/sx5hwar5t/ As you can see, no increase to damage except for melee, and its not even good. If you want melee, you quick slash which gives you 25% faster attacks.

Here's a tip for free to play games: DON'T BUY ANYTHING. And if the game is so broken and unfair that you have to waste money to progress, stop playing and uninstall that shit.

I played this game right after seeing Joe's video. Seems to me like this is a heavily modded Counter Strike Global Offensive. This game has good potential. There's good humour, nice character models & variations, and the gameplay itself is pretty solid. But the pay to win model fucks it all up. It's quite broken if you don't have a high class character. They OP your ass, mine especially. My weapons are so weak, while they have high powered weapons. Even if I shoot them 3 times in the head, they won't go down. So I have to play medic support most of the time which is still pretty fun, but annoying that the enemies are overpowered. I had enough after 3 matches, and I continue to play Witcher 3 afterwards.

Completely agree with this statement. The RNG system seems completely broken even when he was upgrading using the "elite packs". The gameplay looks fun but the RNG would drive me crazy. So, I hope that game gets ddosed and disappears.

I have been burned before by FTP games with an RNG system that's more cruel to me than Hitler is cruel to jews. Phantasy Star Online 2, a game that robbed me of my money more than Garrett from Thief ever could. I know I was wasting my money, but when someone else is wearing that costume you really like and he/she is in front of you? That's just an irresistible bait. If you're not prepared to spend anything on a FTP game I suggest only play it for the luls. Don't ever try to take it seriously because one way or another those pachinko level RNG items will hook you. I find games that sell items on in-game stores a better type of business model because it's more honest on what you will get.

Wouldn't touch that game with a ten foot pole, for a start it doesn't look great and any game I see where you can buy booster packs, creates or whatever is a waste of time. The game is designed around the micro transactions and not around an actual game.

I can imagine guys  sitting around a board table and saying we can charge for random creates and have a raffle type wheel, now what kind of game will we make? Shooting, racing, flying ...................
