PlayStation Plus Line-Up (January 2016)

12 posts in this topic

Here are the PlayStation Plus free game line-up for January 2016:

Full List Here:

Hardware: Rivals (PS4)

Get behind the wheel of a powerful tank or mobile attack jeep in this arcade-style, vehicle combat game. Inspired by the PS2 classic Hardware: Online Arena, Hardware: Rivals lets you challenge your friends or enter the online multiplayer arena on your own and experience epic vehicular mayhem with multiple maps, game modes, and special events.

Grim Fandango Remastered (PS4/Vita)

As Manny Calavera, travel agent for the Department of Death, you’ll guide poor souls to their eternal rest. Crime. Skeletons. Romance. You’ll experience it all in this update to the beloved adventure game.

Dragon Age: Origins (PS3)

You are a Grey Warden, one of the last of a legendary order of guardians. With the return of mankind's ancient foe and the kingdom engulfed in civil war, you have been chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands and slay the archdemon once and for all. Explore a stunning world, make complex moral choices, and engage in bone-crushing visceral combat against massive and terrifying creatures.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter (PS3)

The game is a sequel to the 2010 release, Medal of Honor, which moved the long-running game series from its roots in WWII based gameplay, into modern warfare scenarios and true-to-life conflicts. The single-player campaign features mission play involving returning characters 'Mother,' 'Preacher,' 'Voodoo' and others in operations after their service in Afghanistan. Multiplayer modes include 2-20 player support in which players have the ability to play as one of 13 real special ops units, from 10 countries.

Nihilumbra (Vita)

Discover the beautiful world of Nihilumbra and join Born on his adventure to find himself whilst trying to escape from his inevitable curse.
Born was created from the absolute nothingness: The Void. But somehow he separates himself from the black emptiness and appears in the world. This is where his long odyssey begins, in which he will learn how to use the colors around him to gain powerful abilities and transform the world.

Legends of War: Patton (Vita)

Assume the role of General Patton and command the U.S. Third Army, from the beaches of France to the city of Berlin, along a complete Campaign composed of 7 Operations and 35 different Missions of varied and exciting objectives to fight the Nazi forces. (PSP Title)

All of these titles will be free to PlayStation Plus members on the first Tuesday of January (01/05/2016)

What do you think of the line-up, is it another mediocre month, or is there one or two games that have caught your eye?

This is a joke right?

I mean it has to be what a terrible line up.  Especially when Hardware rivals has been free from the get go.

How? It's release date for PlayStation 4 is the same day as the Plus line-up.

Not even on the store...

You talking about the beta for it?

I think he means the beta, it's been on the store though I think it ended a few weeks ago and there were like only two maps.

I'm not a deranged lunatic, I just know how to assess the situations within the game.

I gotta say, I agree with Raizurhk here, this is a bit week, and it's not a coincidence that (imo) XBL's line up for January isn't any better. In fact, they're actually kinda similar. Neither MS nor Sony are gonna bring the A-Game to these now, not so soon after Christmas and the holiday season games. Give it a month or two and they'll both pick up.

Hardware: Rivals looks decent enough and heard Grim Fandango is good, but it's still not that great of a line up overall.
