Amazon Japan now sells their games internationally!

Good news for Japanese game fans, you can now able to buy Japan-only games and their versions on that country to be shipped in North America, Europe, and Asia (outside of Japan)!. This provides an alternative to Play-Asia.com because their shipping took a long time to deliver my games.

Nice to have more options.

This provides an alternative to Play-Asia.com because their shipping took a long time to deliver my games.

As far as I remember they fell out of relevance years ago when they started having high prices and slower ship times as more alternatives appeared, including ordering directly from retailers and companies. I never did pay much attention to what places others started using though.

Unless those games from Amazon Japan also have English subtitles, then sites like Play-Asia and Amiami will still probably be the preferred way to get Japanese games for some people. Not everyone is able to speak or read Japanese after all.

This

The problem is, I can't read Japanese  <_<

is why this

RIP import sites

won't happen. Import sites usually sell the Asia version of those Japanese games too. It's the version that has English subtitles / menus, something that I doubt all the Japanese games from Amazon Japan will have.

Depends on what shipment method you choose.

He did say he used the Standard Delivery.

My experience with Play-Asia is mostly the same, course for figurines, I always go with EMS. The only time I ever got my order pretty slow was when I bought a PS Vita memory card from them, which I think they got from a reseller or something. It went a few days past their estimated delivery date, and I even had to e-mail them that it could've gotten lost or something. In the end, I still got my order. I didn't choose EMS for that particular order, so no tracking number, and longer delivery time, which they do indicate.
