PlayStation Plus Line-Up (April 2016)

6 posts in this topic

Here are the PlayStation Plus free game line-up for April 2016:

Full List Here:

Dead Star (PS4)

A team-based shooter with RPG influence that we are excited to have launch as a Plus game. Dreamed up by the folks at Armature Studio (Founded by key members of the Metroid Prime team!), Dead Star is the result of a “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” process that started with a space shooter foundation and includes elements of strategy and MOBA-like titles.

Zombi (PS4)

The second PS4 game this month is Zombi, a first-person survival-horror experience. Zombi really was at the forefront of the resurgence we’ve seen in recent years of genuine survival-horror games. The London setting combined with well-paced gameplay sets Zombi apart from more action-oriented titles. Add in the extra challenge of permadeath and it’s easy to see why this game became a cult hit.

I Am Alive (PS3)

One year after the Event, a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped most of the human race, a man struggles for survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost wife and daughter. In this believable post-apocalyptical tale, there are no supernatural threats, just an everyman who faces the permanent insecurity of a now decaying and hazardous world and humanity’s darkest inclinations. Will you hang on to your humanity and help strangers or are you ready to sacrifice others in order to survive?

Savage Moon (PS3)

Savage Moon is an action strategy game in which you must defend a remote mining facility from a deadly army of alien creatures known as Insectocytes. Using an arsenal of high-tech military hardware, shield the base from wave after wave of attacks – the more bugs you blast, the more credits you’ll earn to enhance your artillery or buy new weapons.

Shütshimi (Vita)

Shütshimi is a randomized shoot'em up about a muscle-bound fish with memory problems defending the seven seas. Defeat or navigate through waves of enemies, collecting new upgrades every 10 seconds that change up the gameplay as you battle your way through each of the game's bosses.

A Virus Named Tom (Vita)

A perfect place. A city without traffic. A dog that doesn't poop. All products of the brilliant mind of Dr. X, but hell hath no fury like a mad scientist fired by a giant corporation. In this unique action-puzzler you take control of TOM, a virus created for one purpose: revenge.  Hack your way through brain scrambling puzzles while maneuvering through a thumb cramping maze of enemies. Team up through over 50 cooperative levels in what MMGN is calling "The most addictive co-op game we've played since Portal 2." And if the over 100 levels aren't enough, you and your friends can destroy each other again and again in battle mode to determine just who is the supreme virus.

All of these titles will be free to PlayStation Plus members on the first Tuesday of April (04/05/2016)

What do you think of the line-up, is it another mediocre month, or is there one or two games that have caught your eye?

.... No it wasn't.

It was a half decent title thats only stand out feature was the use of the Wii U gamepad, and even that has been stripped from this version.

Dead Star looks fantastic, love to do a game night on that. As for Zombi, if I really wanted to play that I probably would have bought it for WiiU by now.
