Would you play a PS4 Yu-Gi-Oh game?

12 posts in this topic

I know there is already PC games for that, but none of them have the stuff I liked from the TV show. Like the monsters materializing and actually having attack/defense animations, or the spell/trap cards actually ensnaring their prey on the field. I would SO buy a new Yu-Gi-Oh game with full animations for monsters, spells, traps, etc...

P.S: Anybody remember Dungeon Dice Monsters from season 2? I always thought that would make a kick-ass strategy game

No.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist (A Yu-Gi-Oh! game that is already on PS4 btw) has a handful of animations for key monsters in the game and while the first time is nice seeing the same animation over and over again gets incredibly boring and really slows the game down.

As for Dungeon Dice Monsters ....

yu-gi-oh-dungeon-dice-monsters-usa-en-es

.... It really didn't.

Well, you seem to know more about it than I do...

Thanks for the wisdom, chief.

There was Yu Gi Oh: Duelists of the Roses on the PS2 that had the monsters materialize on the board. It worked a lot like the labyrinth style game featured in the animated series where monsters could move a number of tiles and attack enemies that were close by. It was modified a bit so that various terrain types affected the ATK/DEF of the monsters depending on their element, based on the gen 1 field spell cards.

That is exactly the game I used to play. Damn, those were good times... Too bad that game goes for $70 now.

Uh, no it doesn't. A really short Google search shows $12 at the most on ebay, and just over $5 on Amazon.

Can't we just develop real 3D technology and bring the cards back? :)

Well, if you want to buy it used for just the game in "acceptable" condidtion. New still costs at least $70 dollars; that's probably the downside to a "really short google search".

.... Why the heck whould you buy this 'brand new' if all you wanted to do was play the game?

Plus most E-bay listing have the game in original case and are listed as good/very good condiiton
