What's your favorite co-op Game(s)?

18 posts in this topic

I've been a sucker for co-op games ever since Brute force for the Xbox (Who remembers that??? haha).

Just want to get a feel of other people's favorite co-op games of all time.

My favorite ones (in recent memory at least),

GTA 5

Borderlands (all of them)

Splinter cell (most of them at least)

Saint's row 2,3,4

Halo (all of them, except for the latest one. Really lackluster to me)

Is left for dead still worth giving a try? I'm hesitant with dated games.

I would pass on Left 4 dead and get Vermintide. It is so much better and refined over l4d.

I'm sold on that Vermintide game! If anyone is up to start a team, let me know! I'm interested! Game looks fun.

The original Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Diablo 2, World of WarCraft (back when it was a good game) and the Left 4 Dead games.

Left 4 Dead 2
Because it's hilarious to see your friends get pounded by the Tank.

Magicka
Because you can get away with killing your whole group as long as you kill at least 4 enemies at the same time.

Army of Two
It's an old one, but I loved co-op on this game. You both felt like real bad asses, regardless of how mediocre the story was.

There are a few others, but I'd consider those more multiplayer than actual co-op.

Saint's Row series

Borderlands series

Doom and Doom 2

Armored Warfare

Defiance

Dead Island

Probably more games I haven't thought of.

Killing Floor, both of them are pretty great and they're different enough that you can try both

I agree with all 3 comments here, Army of two is one of the most under-rated co-op games of this generation, it was so much fun, story was a bit meh, but gameplay, and some of the guns, amazing, also the melee kills are some of the best ive seen in a 3rd person shooter.

But my favourtes are:

Diablo 3

Dying Light

Left For Dead 2

Borderlands 2

Double Dragon Neon

Army Of Two 1 and 2

Magicka

Forced

Broforce

Deadrising 3

GTA 5

Farcry 3 and 4

Rayman Origins

Supreme commander 2/commander and conquer/warhammer dawn of war series

and Sanctum 1 and 2

Honestly, my favorite co-op game of all time was this PS2 game called Darkwatch. Me and my cousin beat that game at least 30 times together. But, some others I had fun with were Gears of War (1), Left 4 Dead, and SOCOM.

Killing Floor 2 is a 6-player zombie survival. Think 6 players coop Left 4 Dead (zombie survival) + counter strike (kill stuff, gain $$, buy better guns between levels). The "guns feel" in this game is some of the best in the business.

Insurgency, in simple words, a modern version of the "original" Ghost Recon.

ArmA3 - this sh!t is real....

Paydays 2 - play this instead of that garbage Battlefield: Hardline

Guns of Icarus: 4 players coop airship battle

Sanctum 2: 4 player coop FPS + tower defense like Dungeon Defenders 1&2

Zombie Army Trilogy:  L4D + Sniper elite
