As a Trekie this makes me happy. I've heard bits and pieces here and there but seeing is believing.

But awesome! I can't wait for this.

I'm kinda hoping it will take events after ST Voyager.

So long as they stay away from the gawd awful movie remakes of the original and get Star Trek back to being Star Trek.

Yeah same...

Movies didn't feel like Star Trek to me at all, besides the cool effects and combat, the movies weren't anything special.

I'm just hoping for some classic Star Trek here, nothing much. Good story, good characters, good worlds to explore, interesting alien races and things like that. I really hope it won't be some action-focused thing like the movies were. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind action, I love it, but not like if it's constantly focused on ONE enemy faction and the whole series revolves around that. That's what I hate.

Like if Voyager from episode 1 till last was only about Borg. It was about the Borg near the end, everything before that SLOWLY unveiled them and made it tenser and tenser, while still staying on original path like discovering other worlds and aliens.

It's about time Star Wars got a live action series.

presented by cryengine... j/k

I wish they would have finished enterprise and just not given up. Yeah sure it drew on and on with the sulabon crap but they were getting to the romulan war!

I'm very excited to get a new star trek series and glad to hear its not in the Abrams universe

I didnt like the newest series at all.

But I enjoy all the others, and am hopeful.

Ds9 is a strange one. I like how it has a deeper look into politics and character development. But I miss the exploration aspect when I watch it... It is tied with stng for my fave though

Enterprise got really strong in the end when they had nothing to lose and I wish it got another season to be honest. It started off very rocky and the crew didn't grow at all but the same could be said for my fav. TNG. The first season there was also all over the place.

TNG's cast kinda could carry the show thru an episode about watching paint dry though. I never felt too enamored with any of Enterprise's cast.
