Do you like DOOM (2016)'s music?

Personally I think Mick Gordon did a wonderful job, I especially like the tracks ''At DOOM's Gate, Rip and Tear, The BFG Devision and Ultraviolence'' I think he accompished what he was aiming for, as the original he combines Technology and Metal, my only complaints are that the Distortion from his guitar sounds too much like the ''Technology'' part, so it feels like Metal is a bit lacking, but the bass just kills it. I am saddened that I have no platform on which to play the new DOOM, atleast the Singleplayer looks amazing!

it's ok i guess but i prefer the Original Doom Tracks. Especially the MetalDoom mod or DoomMusic Mod for Brutal Doom. "Demons on the Prey, Suspence, Dark Halls, Kitchen Ace... bad ass Tracks.

It's ok from what I've heard, haven't played the game yet. Although I think there's a couple remixes out there that sound better. Like:

The at "at dooms gate" song, fits it perfectly, reminds me of the classic aswell. I almost watched a 5 hour long game on ultra nightmare of the game 1080p hahaha. I bet the game is a rush for sure.

I like the style they went for with the new game and I see no real problem with it; it makes sense, but I just wish they stuck to their guns and decided to focus on more oldschool elements instead of throwing in some of that dubstep stuff into the mix - because that's basically what they've done. They wanted it to appeal to the new kiddies.

Personally I like this theme the best. It's slower paced than the one by Andrew that they used for Brutal Doom, but this one has more unf to it imo. Delicious, delicious unf.

Personally, I frigging love it. As I've said elsewhere on these forums, Mick Gordon has the uncanny ability to mimic a certain band (in the case of Doom 2016 he mimics Nine Inch Nails, or more broadly anything Trent Reznor's been associated with since 1989), while simultaneously staying unique and paying homage to the original games sound. That is a very rare skill.

It's good, but you just can't beat the original.

People who say Doom's music is dubstep are either A: never listen to more than a few seconds of the OST, or B: don't actually know what dubstep sounds like.

The music is freaking awesome. Especially when you first get to hell and it mixes the usual quire stuff with those chugy industrial metal riffs.

I wonder why you can't beat a classic.

Just finished playing the campaign and...I found the music to be OMGF WTF THE ABSOLUTE MOST AMAZINGLY SUPER DUPER UNBELIEVABLY... average around. Not to mention I didn't really get a single track that really made me go 'yeahh!'... Not to say it didn't suit the game, it fit fine, but I pretty much have no desire to ever listen to any of its tracks on their own, and I never wanted to jack up the volume WHILE playing because of the music.
