Planning out my next graphic card upgrade

4 posts in this topic

My current motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-990FX-Gaming

My current graphics card is a VisionTek Radeon™ HD 7870 2GB

What would you guys recommend as a considerable and worthy upgrade? Or am I underestimating my 7870? If I'm not, I wouldn't mind having a 4GB, because more is usually always better.

I would say that I think that upgrading your is a good idea since it seems that the rest of the system is a bit higher grade.

Which one really depends on your budget, if you want to stick with AMD and have 4Gb of VRAM then I would recommend the R7 370.  Outperforms the equivalent GTX 960 in benchmark tests and is cheaper.
