Special AJSA Xbox One Community Event -"Summer Brawl"

Get ready to Rumble and layeth the Smackdown!  On Saturday August 27th, 2016 @6:30pm EST there will be a special community event for WWE 2K16 hosted by RuneX and the Xbox One staff! Create your own custom wrestlers and battle it out within the squared circle against your fellow AJSA members in a variety of match types and game modes.

• Create your own custom wrestler, entrance and move set!
• Have your wrestler compete against other AJSA created wrestlers!
• The crazier looking the wrestler...the better (and funnier)!
• Keep power abilities and attributes at a reasonable level when creating your character.
• Custom wrestlers not required to participate. However custom wrestlers YOU create are encouraged!
• Take screenshots and clips of your wrestler in action. Share them on the forums and/or with your friends on Xbox!
• We meet up on Saturday August 27th, 2016 - 6:30pm EST (11:30pm GMT) with RuneX as host.
• To unlock additional costume items and entrance music, complete matches in the WWE 2K16 "Showcase" mode.

The wrestling game, which will be the first of its kind to be featured on an event schedule on the Xbox One, is part of the Xbox Live "Games With Gold" program. Starting from August 16th to September 15th the game will be FREE TO DOWNLOAD for Xbox Live Gold members. Thanks to Game Officer Psykogrl, a "Games With Gold" thread is maintained and updated regularly in the Xbox area of the forums located here.

I remember a game me and my brother used to play on one of the old WWE games years ago. We never gave it a name, so lets just call it "impartial" Referees. Here's how it worked.

 

Two teams would face of in either a one on one or tag match. For a four player game, two playing would be wrestlers on a one on one match with the other two being special guest referees doing whatever it took to make their assigned partner win. Fast counts, attracting the opponent wrestler and ref, anything to win. Obviously, there has be a no DQ stipulation otherwise it wouldn't work, but count outs, submissions and pinfalls in the ring are the way to go. It was such a laugh.

 

On a two player game, the players would play the ref's and try to make their AI partner win.
