If I buy a PS4 Pro am I going to notice any difference from a normal PS4? I don't have a 4K tv. Is it worth the price difference?

Without a 4K TV then no, there's really no point.

Lol thank you, I can't seem to really find a straight answer. Most sites just hymn-haw about it

More specifically a 4K TV that is HDR 10 bit (HDR10).

As of right now, you are somewhat right, but soon there will be a new update (4.50) that contains a PS4 Pro only feature that will boost the performance for games without an official PS4 Pro patch.

Here's a video from Digital Foundry that shows what the beta version of the Boost Mode is capable of -

If I'm understanding this correctly, buying a more expensive console for performance boost only is negligible. Unless you desperately need to shave those extra seconds off loading times and maybe add a few extra FPS. If you're going to eventually get a 4K tv then you'll be utilizing the Pro's full potential and the cost will be worth it. IMO, don't blow the extra money for mere load times.

Ok so with tax return I'm going to buy a ps4 pro and this tv Sony XBR43X800D 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD TV (2016 Model).

If I'm understanding correctly that should work good together right? It claims to be a 4K HDR 10b

sorry about this post formatting I'm on mobile so I can't fix it

I have a larger version of pretty much the same TV bought at the end of last year and it's excellent. 4k and HDR both look fantastic on it. Also, because It's a Sony Bravia, it will marry up with PS4 very easily to get the picture settings right. The tv's remote even works with the console on apps like Netflix.

Got my TV easy enough but I had to order the PS4 Pro offline, the guy at GameStop told me there wasn't one on the entire east half of the state and Walmart said the same
