First what about what about Skyward Sword Zelda? I feel like that Story Zelda deserve a mention. Also like you I was afraid to use my good weapons until I got to a boss fight or something until I realized the blood moon respawns more then just the enemies. So it became a routine trip to Hyrule Castle to raid the royal armory every blood moon. And the amiibo thing kinda sucks because I was so hoping for Epona to be in the game but it ended up being a lock-disc content. Another thing I did hear that you can lower the health requirement to pull out the master sword by doing the trials in the lost woods and finding the lost memories.

Honestly while I can see Zelda in Skyward Sword as a friend who Link cares for and it is shown, I never saw any growth past the initial first interactions. She is Link's motivation, a good one, but she is a tool for Link to save the day. Even Impa goes out of her way to mention this. Zelda herself never changes much over the course of the game, typically sticking to her already authoritative nature.

I would say Groose or Fi had more character growth in the game. Groose going from a rival to friend to inventor was a treat to watch. Fi, admittedly I was not a fan of her early on, but she came into her own near the end of the game.

See I enjoy the idea of the Blood Moon. Fits nicely into why enemies keep re-spawning and gives you more attempts at some of the cooler world bosses. Was not till after the review that a friend mention weapon spawning however. The problem is we gamers, well we like to game the system. I have seens friends just constantly run back to the castle after a couple of blood moons. It sort of ruins the progression or any sense of progression in the game. Turning the durability system into a chore.

I was hoping that we would at least be given a chance to go on an epic adventure to find Epona. They even have other "interesting" horses in the game but no Epona.

I did not know you can lower the health requirement. I will have to check in on that. What I ended by doing was respeccing out of stamina, grabbed the sword, and then spec back into stamina.
