Multi monitor/console Audio setup

2 posts in this topic

I have three 1080p 27in monitors with no built in speakers, i have the Logitech Z313 speakers. I can plug the speakers to my mother board which has MSI audio boost and i can hear good audio for my computer but i have a ps3 and ps4 both are connected to the end monitors. To get audio for my consoles would i have to buy two more sets of speakers and plug them to the each individual monitor that has a console connected to it or is it possible to get all my audio thru one set of speakers.

I have a set up that includes a PS3, PS4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch and a PC all connected to the same 5.1 surround sound speaker system and wireless headset.  I've done it using mostly optical cables but since your speakers don't use them I think a straight forward 3.5mm switcher like this (or something similar) would be best.

Connect each of your monitor's headphone jacks to the inputs and then your Logitech Z313 speakers to the output and just simply switch as you need to.
