Apparently this film is produced by Michael Bay's production company, but Michael Bay himself is not the one producing it. Which...... you know that's actually an interesting thought. If he's producing the film, I bet he's going to have the animals be CGI like all hell, most likely the film will have a lot explosions, and Dora will be played by Megan Fox. Which is WRONG! OH GOD IT'S SO WRONG!!!! How can you turn a children's show into a Bay bullshit fest?? 

 

Buuuut thankfully Bay himself is not involved, thank the Lord for that. The film will not star Dora as a 7 year old, but will instead be her as a teenager....... ok? And the film will be written by Nicholas Stoller. AKA that guy who wrote the Muppets movie! And Captain Underpants. And Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, which I personally like because it's so hilariously dumb. And..... Zoolander 2..... which is one of the worst piece of crap I have ever seen that destroys the first movie which is actually good.............

Well hold on........ there's plenty of of live action movies based of kids shows from these people that have worked out.........

 

      

 

...... Ok not the best examples but others have adapted them very well......

 

     

 

....... DAMMIT their even worse!!!  Well maybe they were based on shows that were aimed at an audience too young for a live action film to present itself seriously enough.  I'm sure if you had a show that was able to appeal just as much to adults that you could adapt it successfully in to a........

OK... no... there is no hope for this movie!

Oh no.......I remember the horrors..... the horrors of those....... abominations..... especially Dragon Ball Ev....... Ev........ THAT IS NOT DRAGON BALL! YOU CANNOT TURN GOKU INTO A HORMONE FILLED TEENAGER WHO WANTS TO BANG CHI2! AND YOU DO NOT TURN THE KAMEHAMEHA INTO A RESURRECTION TOOL! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE MOVIE? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?????

 

The bright thing is there are indeed good live action films based on a kids show, so not all hope is lost!

 

But unfortunately those films are in the 1980s and 90s. Nothing good has come since...... WELL that ain't exactly true. I like the first Michael Bay Transformers film, and the TMNT Out of the Shadows film.

 

 

This Dora film is going to suck horribly. Let us prepare to have yet another children's show get destroyed.
