This forum is for support of a game that has gone nearly undetected by the gaming community as a whole.   Interstellar Marines is an AAA, FPS, Sci-fi, action and adventure game with an original and unpredictable storyline featuring single and cooperative gameplay, with heavy focus on realism. Planned as a trilogy and targeted at a 17+ audience, the game is currently being developed for PC. In time it's aimed at the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Set in a believable future, the player is a newly enlisted Special Forces soldier, equipped with the latest in weaponry, armor and gadgets that will embark on a breathtaking adventure. A world filled with challenging scenarios and heart pounding situations that in time draws you deeper into an ongoing plot.

Key features

Heavy focus on creating a thick realistic feeling of immersion through graphics, sound and game play.

Single player or up to four players cooperative game play.

A number of different interactive environments, ranging from claustrophobic space stations to large outdoor levels.

Persistent character development and skill system

Non-linear game play and open ended level design

   Freely customizable weapons simulation

Captivating epic storyline written with focus on the co-operative part of the game

The game is currently in a playable stage, with a full multiplayer that is constantly being updated and worked on.  The maps in the multiplayer are very unique in several ways.  They feature and active and changing weather system to change it from sunny to raining in seconds, and change from broad daylight to pitch black on the fly.  The single player is still under development and the game its self will take some time to come out, however with the support of the AJSA the game can get a major boost and development will steam forward.   The game is available on Steam

Never heard of this until now. Doesn't look half bad though.

I would love it if this game had an xcom style kind of vibe to it, not turn based but upgrading ships, the class you pick lets you upgrade certain parts of your ship, boarding parties to take on capital ships, that sort of thing :)

I'm still waiting for that kind of game... but I want it badly, super bad.

I'm fairly certain this game has gone undetected by the gaming community, because it's in development hell at the moment. It's been going for, what, four years now? I think so, anyways.

Either way, I have the Early Access version of it on Steam. It's great, even if it is completely minimalistic and pointless to play in its current stage. Very pretty and full of promise, but I'd like them to hurry up and actually make the darn game!

Early Access has given them the money required to allow them to do exactly that.

I saw this game a long time ago. Pretty excited about it but not willing to throw the money down now. Shit can hit the fan pretty hard with the game being in such early development. As soon as the game starts to come together and looks like it'll be good I'll be more than willing to put money down on the game.

Yeah I remember seeing this years and years ago and being interested, and then playing the Unity demo thing and being interested again, but it's hard to keep any level of excitement when the development is taking this long.

What we need to do for this game is get its name in the AJSA main feeds.  We need Joey to see this game.

A detailed look at the team trying to create an amazing game, simply for the "love of the game".

I can't wait to fight the sharks lol. It's sad they had to redo their old work because of issues with the unreal engine agreement, they had a lot done if you can find those gameplay videos of them walking down hallways, trying out the ingame voice and light plus SHARKS with feet lol.

But either way the game is turning out great, the coop was fun ...and scary when the enemies started popping out for the first time but like any big patch it had a lot of fps issues / limited servers and of course crashes. If you pick it up and want to try out a future coop mission/patch give me a heads up I will be happy to back you up *closes the hanger door and hides in the crate*
