The game mode that we will be playing for this event will be 32 PLAYER CONQUEST SMALL. The maps that we will be playing on will be restricted to just vanilla maps. Things are starting to get weird...

    By Dark Templar, in Articles,

When: Saturday, October 18th, 2014, Operation will commence at 2PM EST (7PM GMT)
Where: EMERALD Server, AJSA Teamspeak: ts3.ajsagaming.com
How: Platoon and Squad Leaders will create specific Squad Channels in the Teamspeak to match the name of the in-game Squad in PS2. Join the Teamspeak Channel that matches the squad you join in game, so you can hear your Squad Leader!
New members read the "READ HERE" forum post to see a list of Sergeants/Officers to send in-game messages to so you can get invited to the outfit or loo for them in teamspeak.
What: Our objective during Ops is to play together as a large team and cooperatively fight as an unit semi-seriously, while still having a fun time. Squad members are expected to listen to their Squad Leaders to ensure the AJSA is victorious in battle.
    Event Outline:
Kick-off Phase: - Hailstorm (High Altitude MAX Drop)
To get into the mood and to announce that the AJSA is here, we will do something together as one large blob, before normal combat operations begin. For this operation, let's try a High Altitude Galaxy Drop with MAXes, our galaxies will fly to the height limit and drop their payload of AJSA MAXes over a hot spot. However, we will try to make the MAX squads balanced so we can last longer; the composition being 5 MAXes, 5 engies, 2 medics. After we all die horribly, we can begin normal operations.
    Combat Phase:
We will then break off to our platoon and squad assignments. If an Alert has started, we will play the objectives of the alert, otherwise, we will go to hot spots where we are needed (splitting continents if called for).
Racing Phase: AJSA RACING LEAGUE, Race #17: Three Tier Relay Race!
Once the Combat Phase winds down, we will have another exciting edition of the AJSA Racing League. This time our 17th Official Race will be a Three Tier Relay Race! This race requires a 3 person team: this race will involve the use of three different vehicles. starting with the Harasser to the first checkpoint, the Liberator to the second checkpoint, and with a Sunderer sprint to the finish! The race route will be decided by command depending on conditions in the field, start assembling your 3-man teams today!

The First Place Winning TEAM of the Race will receive the lovely AJSA Racing League Champion Award on the forums. View the award and our hall of champions here:
    and don't forget:
    AJSA Event MVP

Officers and Sergeants will be on the lookout for the player who best exemplifies the AJSA during this event. This means players who not only demonstrate skill on the battlefield, but are great team members as well. A player who meets those high standards for this event will receive the AJSA Champion Award to adorn their forum profile!
Note, that a MVP is not guaranteed to be awarded every Op, you have to earn it!

Saturday, the day after Halloween (November 1st), the AJSA's Archeage Guild will be having a Halloween Event almost all day long! Keep reading below for more details or go to our Archeage Forums to learn how to join our East Faction on the Kryios Server!

    By Kizra, in Articles,

There is nothing funny about Halloween.

    This sarcastic festival reflects rather,

    an infernal demand for revenge

by children on the adult world.

    Jean Baudrillard

AJSA will be celebrating halloween on the 1st of november, leaving the 31st free for you to run around covered in paint!

First event will start at 8 am PST (11 am EST) so make sure you're (still) awake!

    How will we celebrate?

With events of course! (just in case you didn't read the title)

The whole day will be filled with events, hide and seek, races, trivia and many more!

All will be working on a Point system.

    How does it work?

Each event will have a winner and that winner will win a prize, but even if you don't win you still gain points.

You will automatically gain a point for entering the event and then additional points during the event itself.

The grand prize will be given to the person with the most points at the end of the day!

I know it is a lot to ask, especially with all the candy, but please keep your sticky fingers in your pockets, for everyones sake.

I hope you will all be sober

though I'm not counting on it.

    Teaser Paragraph:

Greetings Brothers and Sisters of the AJSA Doshka17 here, your Xbox One Community Officer bringing you the latest update on Destiny Cross Platform Competition.

On Sunday the 28th, we brought our September events to a close with the Crucible Challenge.

    By Dogfish, in Articles,

For the Crucible Challenge a six-man fireteam was chosen to represent both consoles in a three hour long contest of the Control playlist.

    The PS4 Team

    BossGod - Sryupuwolf

    The XB1 Team

    Snackattack1210 - Chumbry42

    Soul Coll3ct3r

Both teams fought well, but only one could achieve victory. With a 92% win ratio over the competitor's 83%, the winner of the Crucible Event is the Xbox One!

With the end of this event, we now prepare for the beginning of our October challenges! Each victory is now worth TWO points, making it still any console's game! Our next event is something familiar with an interesting twist...

    The Iron Banner

On Sunday, October 12th at 3:00 P.M. CENTRAL we will be taking advantage of the upcoming Iron Banner event to run the next Cross-Platform Competition PvP event! The event will be 3 hours long, console with the highest win-ratio is the victor! If you want to take part in event for your console you must send a message to your console officer:

    Xbox One - Doshka17
    Playstation 4 - WithAStick

On Saturday we will use a lottery system to pick the participants.

The Xbox One has taken a quick lead, but these have been mere skirmishes in the grand campaign of the competition. Only time will tell who will be victorious. Until then, we fight on!
