  • By RuneX, in Frontpage,

Greetings, everyone! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. I want to thank everyone who came out to the Minecraft event on Xbox One as part of the AJSA Special Operation this past weekend. It was a ton of fun and an excellent way to open up the next chapter of the world. Please stay tuned this week for more information on what is going on with the world, what the groundrules are, how you can get an invite, and how PC/Nintendo Switch members can get involved as well.
This week on Xbox we are showcasing a packed lineup of games in observance of StraightUpMelon, a decorated and long-term serving Officer in our Xbox community. Later this month in Augusut he will be departing for College and his main focus will be on his studies as it should be. All the games selected this week across our Events and Game Nights were hand-picked by Melon himself! We hope you enjoy the titles we're offering and hope everyone has a great time.
Thank you Melon for your service, friendship, and dedication to the community. We will all miss you!
Featured Game Nights [August 1st & August 5th]
Xbox Game Nights were introduced back in January of this year. These are local AJSA Xbox Club activities that are normally held during days where we have no events scheduled. These organized play sessions are structured to be more loose and laidback, creating more opportunities for us as a community to reach out to more games and play even more with each other.
For additional information on Game Nights/Weekly Events, check out our Xbox Community Information thread.

Hi all, hope you're doing well! We're approaching the end of July (already!) and we're closing out the last full week of the month with a stacked list of gaming activities. We're featuring titles such as Fortnite: Battle Royale, Sea of Thieves, Elite Dangerous, and more! On Xbox we will be showcasing 'Minecraft' where our world has been converted to an online Realm. We're also inviting PC members to come play! We've been working around the clock all month preparing for the Special Operation and we're very excited to share with everyone all the new changes we've made. Hope to see you there!

Once you are part of the Realm, you can come back and play whenever you feel like it! It is important to note that PC members must have the ‘Windows 10 Edition’ of Minecraft to play. Have an old version of Minecraft? Log into your Mojang account, find and click on ‘Claim Your Free Copy’ to upgrade.
For voice communications, during the Xbox Phase we will be primarily using Xbox Live party chat to talk. For the PC Phase, we will be using the AJSA Discord channel voice and text channels. There is in-game text chat system built into Minecraft as well.
