EF: GAME ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2016

    Conan
    • The wait is over! Behold the EF's next game!

    What is The Division?

Tom Clancy's The Division is an upcoming online open world third-person shooter RPG (quite a mouthfull), set to release on the 8th of March. In the game on Black Friday a strain of the Smallpox Virus is transmitted through banknotes on this major shopping day. The following Smallpox pandemic destabilized the United States and it is up to the player and his allies to prevent the complete fall of society. The game itself takes place in Manhatten and features various sections, which can (depending on the section) be played in Singleplayer, Co-Op and Multiplayer .

For further details feel free to check these videos from our trusted Lord Commander Joe:

Also feel free to see how fast society would fall if you in your home were patient zero is such a lethal global pandemic:

    Dedicated Players

We encourage commitment and attendance within the EF, thus we offer attendance pips for those players who register themselves as dedicated players (You can still attend all events without making this commitment). As such dedicated players promise to attend at least 50% of the events, for which they will receive said attendance pip at the end of the month.

    Temporary Sergeants

    34-AwardImgMaster-1431112903.png

Those of you who are interested in taking up a leadership position for the second game of the Expeditionary Force should fill out this Google Form. It will enable us to easier shortlist all applicants. Due to the nature of this game the Sergeants will have more of a supervisory role than an actual leadership role.

Before applying, please make sure to familiarise yourself with our rules and guidelines on temporary Sergeants:

    1. Duration of temporary Sergeant Positions

      1. A temporary Sergeant position is given only for the duration of one game, after which it will be revoked again

        1. Temporary Sergeants can apply for a new temporary Sergeant position for the next game

        2. Temporary Sergeants are automatically demoted to the rank of Veteran after their time is over, unless they held a higher rank prior to their appointment

        3. There is a limited number of positions available for each game

          1. Exact numbers will be determined on a case-by-case scenario

    [*]

Should support for this game remain after the EF moves on to the next game, then it will receive Unofficial game status under Commander Seph and the temporary Sergeants will form the basis of the future staff

    [*]

Well I would buy the game, except every credible source I've heard from have told me it's not worth the price tag and that it has little to no actual content. But hey, have fun!

Your "credible sources" are probably basing that on the extremely limited beta. There is actually a lot to the game and it's really fun.

Everybody i know who played the beta liked it and unless the beta is like 80% of the full game can easily see it being enjoyable for a while

Members of the Expeditionary Force in general have to take risks for the good of the AJSA, so if the game sucks, it's up to the Expeditionary Force to help the rest of the AJSA decide if the game has a future in the AJSA!

Ultimately, that's the duel purpose of the EF, to 1) Determine interest/viability of a game for official status in the AJSA, and 2) To evaluate a game as a unified critiquing force. In essence, we are Joe but as a group.
