  1. I've played the game and it was much better then I anticipated. The gameplay is very fun and the executions feel no more repetitive than Assassin's Creed Counter kills and chain kills. In fact this is the closest comparison that I can draw to the combat. The game has some progression in terms of health and focus gain but nothing in terms of progression. This is reserved for multiplayer and works very well. I have had a lot of fun with the game would recommend it to anyone.
  2. Guns of Icarus is insanely fun! My friends and I got lost in that game for hours at a time! I can tell you how many times we were sailing through the skies in our Galleon and wrecking everyone with our stocked crew. The "Pilot" class has a learning curve to it but is really fun once you get the hang of it! I would start off as a gunner because its often times the most exciting since you're at the heart of the action.
  3. Darksiders II was one of my favorite games last generation. I loved the combat, the puzzles, the universe. Everything about it appealed to me. However, after THQ's assets were broken up and sold, the Darksiders got sold to Nordic Games. As of right now they haven't really said anything definitive on Darksiders III. Do you guys think Darksiders III is in the works? Do you want it to be in the works? If so, what would you like to see in the next installment in the franchise?
  4. For me it has to be Spartan: Total Warrior from my PS2 days. Some of my best memories are from that game, especially since it was my first M Rated game. Even now, I still find myself going back to that game to immerse myself in that world and take in the memories from when I was young.
  5. Knack looks like an interesting concept! If I was getting a PS4 I would definitely check that game out!
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if Rockstar attempts some kind of port over for GTA V. I know plenty of people would buy that game twice to play a prettier version of it. I just shudder at the thought of the multiplayer issues that could happen if they port it over to the Next-Gen (well at this point Current-Gen) consoles.
  7. Wow that's awesome! I can't wait to get my hands on this game! Are there any paranormal or mythological elements in the game? I know Crytek was really pushing the Legend of Damocles with the online comics and trailers. Thanks for the heads up about the game!
  8. Sadly it isn't getting good reviews :/ but I'm still going to check it out and decide for myself. At bare minimum it will be an entertaining and beautiful action game.
  9. I saw the IGN live stream of the first two missions and I 85% of my fears about this game are gone! I really hope this turns out well!!
  10. I was really excited about the prospect of the Family Sharing plan! It seemed like a really cool and interesting way to lend games to someone! In this way it seemed like Microsoft was sort of giving us some freedom when the rest of the policies were restricting. Now that the policies have been reversed and it has been taken away, I still think it's possible that they do it. Hopefully later in the console life cycle, when developers and Microsoft become more comfortable with the cloud computing and data sharing, they will reinstate Family sharing
  11. Ryse is definitely the wild card in the launch game line up this generation. If it does it's job, it could blow people away and be a console seller. If it fails, it might just kill XBone sales until TitanFall rolls around. Personally, I'm hoping it turns out to be great. Practically everything about it reminds of Spartan: Total Warrior from my PS2 days and that idea alone makes me want to play it. The execution QTE's don't bother me and never have! Sometimes, it enhances the experience because you as the player get perform actions that would otherwise be impossible with regular button combos.
  12. I like that!.....XBone Looks good to me lol
  13. So in the wake of the announcement of Xbox One and during E3 the internet was flooded with creative names for the Xbox One. One of the them was the Xbone. Microsoft has taken offense to the nickname but I kind of like it. It has a nice ring to it. What do you guys think? Is it insulting or clever?
  14. For me, it's the idea of having something new that is more powerful. Overall, the next-gen consoles seem to be a significant step up in the quality of the gaming experience. More power, better graphics, 60 FPS, new IPs, and new user interfaces all make me excited to welcome in the next generation of consoles. I personally will be getting an Xbox One and I'm very excited to play games like Ryse, Forza, Dead Rising and even games like FIFA 14 and Assassin's Creed 4! The next generation is right around the corner and if it's as good as the last, we are all going to have some awesome treats and surprises in store!
  15. I am very excited for Destiny. I love the RPG elements, the unique and interesting weaponry, and the focus on cooperation when playing with friends. In a way, it reminds me of Borderlands but something about this title just connects with me more. If Bungie pulls this off, they could definitely influence the industry in the same way that they did when Combat Evolved launched. Destiny is definitely on my radar and I am very excited to get this game in my hands when it launches.
