  1. What do you reckon?
  2. video game blues

Seems a lengthy absence has worked wonders, because I really quite enjoy the game again, I like making montages, and I have unlocked several of the 500-kill "Elite" codex entries, I'm level 109 now. The latency issues have also settled down considerably, making the game much, much more fun to play!
  3. networking

Just so you know I've changed my GT from "YORKSHIRE1993" to "AJSAWardie1993"
  4. video game blues

That's part of the problem, and there's the frustrating latency issues taking the fun out of the game as well, sometimes it's so bad i'm rubber banding all over the room, and it throws my shots off as well.
  5. networking

Gamer tag: YORKSHIRE1993 Games I like to play: Skyrim, Battlefield 1, Battlefield 4, Battlefront, Battlefront II (when it comes out), Gears, a bit of Destiny, bit of ESO Time zone: +0 GMT
  6. To be fair, i've been suffering from some, what i like to call, "video game depression" (i do have severe depression btw, i'm not trying to sound overly-dramatic or anything) with BF 1, when I played the Beta I was entralled, I finished the 10 ranks in 10 hours EA Access achievement and my entire EA Access gametime allowance in like 2 days, then when the game out I played it to death for like 6 months straight, i'm level 91 now and these past few months the game has felt like a bit of a slog to play, the lag and latency issues have gotten worse, to the point where i suffer from latency issues and lag literally every single match i play, despite having a strong BT Infinity signal, which obviously doesn't help my mood, but also the game just doesn't seem to have the same brilliance then when i first played it, though this is probably because of having played it to death for months, also it seems i'm always paired with the lemons whilst the enemy seems to have some of the best players in the game, nowadays i rarely play the game, in fact i don't play on my xbox one that much anymore, and most of that time is spent playing skyrim, which i still enjoy very much, i check in every week or so to see if they've introduced some new content and play a few matches, but after a few matches i struggle to keep entertained and turn it off again, i've completed all of the war stories on hard and have got every collectible and codex entry in single player, as well as practically every single codex entry in the game, i also have every single achievement in the game, which obviously i'm pleased about, but still, it feels like everything is done, there are a few more codex entries that are still locked i.e. the 500 kill "Elite" weapon entries, but i don't think i have the patience or the will to get those, every one feels like climing Mount Everest to fill even a quarter of the completion bar, i really want to enjoy this game as much as when i first got it, the game is amazing, it's set in a time period i'm highly interested in, and the graphics are amazing. Sorry for this lengthy post, but i had to get this off my chest, you could say this post has been like a "talking therapy".
  7. the main problem I've found with Battlefield 4's campaign are the bugs, such as the bug in which it's really hard to swim through the submerged corridor on the sunken carrier because there's loads of invisible walls blocking you from swimming through, and the easiest way to get past it is to constantly pause and unpause the game whilst swimming, it's a real pain in the backside!
  8. YORKSHIRE1993, I mostly play Battlefield 1 these days, but I may play some Battlefield 4 in the future.
  9. The RPK in Battlefield 4 is unlocked by completing the "Powder Keg" DLC assignment included in China Rising, it is such a great gun, I love it, it's powerful, though without much recoil, in TDM games I frequently get around 20 or so kills in a match with it, taking the time to get the RPK was definitely a good investment, just like completing the assignments for the L85A2 and L115!
  10. my gamertag is YORKSHIRE1993
  11. might not be as OP as it used to be, but still pretty damn strong, I got 3 kills in about 10 seconds with one a few hours ago.
  12. 2, I bought my first in 2006, one of my very first games for it was Far Cry: Instincts Predator, it gave good service, apart from one RROD issue which meant I had to send it away to be fixed, it lasted until about 2011 or 2012, but finally gave up and wouldn't start, I replaced it with an Xbox 360 Slim, which I still have, but haven't currently got set up because I'm playing on my Xbox One.
  13. I have some thoughts about what the future DLC may contain, I am interested to see what you think may be in the future DLC. French DLC Weapons - Lebel Model 1886 rifle or Berthier rifle, Fusil Automatique Modèle 1917, Chauchat machine gun, Modele 1892 revolver, Ruby pistol, Ste. Étienne Mle 1907 machine gun, F1 grenade Vehicles - Tanks: Saint-Chamond tank or Schneider CA1 tank Fighter plane: One of the Nieuport fighters Bomber plane: Caudron G.4 or Letord Let.9 Attack plane: one of the SPAD fighters Field artillery piece: 75mm Canon de 75 modèle 1897 Russian DLC Weapons - Mosin-Nagant rifle, Berdan rifle, Nagant Model 1895 revolver, Fedorov Avtomat, PM M1910 machine gun, Model 1914 grenade Vehicles - Bomber plane: Ilya Muromets Field artillery piece: 76 mm divisional gun M1902
  14. It's been fine today, so I have no idea why it was being funny, maybe the servers were just having a paddy yesterday.
  15. Compilation videos of the Battlefield 1 game made by me, I know some of them are quite long.
