  1. I have been playing a lot of AoE 2 and Star Wars Empire at War and I started wondering, what are some of the best RTS games on Steam?
  2. I think that it is a testament to Bethesda creative prowess that their games are so replayable. Hell, I bought Skyrim on launch back in '11 and I still go back and play it frequently. (It also doesn't hurt that you can play it on every modern console that you can think of.) But, then again, there are several RPG games that I will go back and play in a proverbial loop. Dragon Age, Baldurs Gate Two, the Divinity games; they are all great games who have hours upon hours of stuff that you can do. Double that if they have multiple ways that you can approach quests. Damn, I love videogames.
  3. Hey Nox, welcome to the army! I'm sure you will love it here. Gotta admit, you have a great taste in video game genres. Have fun, live large, and grind, my friend.
  4. Who else remembers the original Fallout games, the games that inspired a franchise. I recently purchased the original Fallout games on Steam and I gotta admit, I am blown away by the amount of detail placed into those games. When compared with a modern Fallout, you can see the differences. I love these games. They have been my life for the past couple of weeks, so for the sake of "why not", I decided to make a thread where people can post about their experiences in the original Fallout games.
  5. Ever since the announcement of Red Dead 2, my heart beat has been slowly accelerating. Now, it has reached it's peak velocity and I cannot wait to skip work to start the adventure. In honor of Red Dead Redemption as a whole, place any of your Red Dead Redemption content in this thread, be it stories, gameplay info, whatever. And remember, double crossers get shot by my son.
  6. Yeah, it probably should be placed under general; however, I typed this at 4 in the morning and I was not thinking straight. Ahh shit. I didn't even know that it was going to be released on PC as well. But, gosh darnit, why can't Rockstar just have PC ports ready at launch.
  7. Just to let you know, there is a really good chance that Joe will not see this. But yeah, I agree, that game sounds fucked up.
  8. Hey, welcome to the AJSA! Make sure you read the forum rules. Have fun and good gaming.
  9. Ayyy mate. Ya' done went and took my identity. It is swell though. I don't mind. Welcome to the AJSA!
  10. I have just finished my 2nd play through of Fallout 4. This time around, I noticed that I was missing a lot of side quest and activities. My personal favorite quest that I discovered was "The Silver Shroud" quest. In the quest you get to become the Silver Shroud and dispatch justice to the lowlifes of Goodneighbor. Now I want to know what your favorite side quest in Fallout 4 is.
  11. What stuff are you on and where can I get some? lol Me personally, I never have played naked, nor have I had any desire to. But everyone is entitled to do whatever the fuck they want to do. "To playing in the nude." Cheers!
  12. So I am thinking of starting a new game on Baldur's Gate. This time around, I am thinking of role playing an evil character; thinking maybe a Blackguard or something. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for the type of class I should play as. I have completed the game before as good so this time I do want to be evil. I will also import this over to BG2 to continue the story.
  13. Welcome, my good sir to the service. Friend request sent on Steam!
  14. I could not upload an image manually; however, I did get my preferred image using Gravatar.
  15. Yeah, so every now and then I get sick of having the same picture for my avatar, so I change it up a bit. I have done this before on the site; however, this time I am trying to change it to the avatar I use on Discord. So I choose the avatar that I plan to use. It is 154 kb, which is less than the the .5 mb limit and it is also a .jpg file. I hit save and when it takes me to the screen to resize my image, it is my previous pic. I am just a little irritated by this. If anyone knows what the problem is, please let me know.
  16. This is quite an interesting project you are working on. I am wondering... your website mentions a demo that would take you up to the time travel area of the game. Say you had all of the funds that you needed, would it be possible for you to give an estimate of how long it would take to produce the demo that you have planned?
  17. So I don't know how much the rest of the AJSA loves Oblivion; however, I love it! So imagine how excited I was when I heard about how a dedicated group of volunteers were working on a project to place the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in Skyrim's engine. OH MAH GAWD!!! And it's not just a graphics mod either. This is a complete remaster created from, scratch by the team. Brand new textures, dungeons, and creatures made by hand, introduced into today's high standards for graphics. You must own both Skyrim and Oblivion to be eligible for this free mod. The project was started way back in 2012 and is still being worked on to this day. Unfortunately, the "mod" has no release date, as of yet. And as it turns out they are looking for people to help build the game. I also must mention that I am in no way affiliated with this group and I am just trying to spread the word. If you have talents that you believe could help out the project, click this link. That leads to their official website. https://skyblivion.com/ And now some screenshots/concept art from an early build... As I have said before, I am extremely excited for this. Can't wait for it's release.
  18. Have you tried the Oblivion Character Overhaul. It fixes it up well enough for me. However, I do not expect Skyblivion to have potato faces because, as I said, the ENTIRE game is being redesigned by hand. This includes all textures and meshes for the game.
  19. board game

Welcome to the AJSA. That's an impressive resume ya' got there. I am not sure if Joe will see this (I highly doubt it); however, your skills will be appreciated here in the Angry Army. Don't forget to take a quick look at forum rules. (I finally got to one of the new recruits before the Commanders. Finally!)
  20. As we all know, in 2017 gaming did not do so well. That is not to say there were not some really good releases. There were; however, a lot of bad games and quite a few disappointments. I'm looking at you Shadow of War. But if you look on the horizon, you will see that there are some great looking games that are due to be released in 2018. These are just a few of the good ones. #1) Farcry 5: Set in the American Midwest, Farcry 5 is shaping up to be an interesting game. Set in the fictional setting of Hope County, Montana, the game takes place in a small town that seems like paradise; however, if you look closely, you can see the violence and emerging religious sect that will play the role of the antagonist in the game. This will also be the first Farcry game that will allow you to create a custom character. As a personal fan of the Farcry series, I hope that Ubisoft doesn't fuck this game up. Ubisoft, I'm watching. #2)Monster Hunter-World: The next installment in the Monster Hunter franchise, World is going to give players across the world a reason to play. The game features epic boss battles, a huge open-world to explore, and the ability to host co-op games globally. If you enjoy strategic game play with your friends, keep an eye on this one. #3) God of War: Yes. Yes. Yes. Finally, a new God of War game to sate my appetite. However, this game will differ from the originals. Set in a cold, Scandinavian like setting, everyone's favorite God of War, Kratos, will be pitted against the giants of Norse mythology. And the game will also be a slower, more serious story. You see, Kratos will have his son with him during the game. I have officially jumped on the hype train. #4) Red Dead Redemption 2: Perhaps the game I am looking forward to most, this game should be great. This will be an outlaw epic that should be even better the the first. With a large open world, a tense, story driven narrative, and great gun play that makes you feel like you art in the wild, wild west. Look for this game in Fall of 2018. #5) The Last of Us 2: This game may possibly be the magnum opus of 2018. Taking place in a post-apocalyptic world, the Last of Us 2 continues the story of Ellie and Joel. If it is anything like the first entry in the series, then look for this game at the top of people's best list of 2018. So, those are the games that I am looking forward to in 2018. Please put any games that you are looking forward to in the comments below.
