  1. Feedback for streamers, new and old. Members of the AJSA or otherwise. Hello AJSA, It has been a while since my last post here. I hope everyone is doing well. I thought that this may be a good thread to have on the AJSA forum. ---------- While people can provide tips and advice in a general manner regarding the improvement of one's stream, both in terms of hardware and software, and also concerning interaction with your audience, it would seem that an assessment of some or all of these matters relative to one's own stream could be somewhat difficult. In this case, as it is in many other instances, direct feedback from outside sources can be incredibly useful when attempting to improve. Note - This is not to be a place for the purpose of advertising or getting viewers. -If you want to get involved in streaming with the AJSA, perhaps stream to the Angry Joe Show Army community on Twitch, or consider submitting an application to join the stream team (see other pages in the forum for information about this). - This is meant to be a thread where people can come to discuss streams and their own ideas about what makes for a good stream. This is also intended to help get new streamers started, a place where they can ask questions, and perhaps politely ask people to watch their streams (live or past) for a few minutes to get feedback. If you post a link to your twitch account, or other streaming site, do so only for the purpose of getting specific feedback regarding your streams and ways to improve. ---------- On that note, I recently started myself on Twitch. While I can not say much about what makes a good stream due to the fact that I started around 2 months ago at the time of this post, I was sent a message by a bigger streamer than myself that I found to be quite helpful. In the message were 2 comments that really stood out, and I will present you with these statements as well. Maybe you might find these helpful, as I did, although I shall leave interpretation up to the reader. "If you want a practical way of thinking about streaming, consider this: imagine it is the 90's again, think of your audience as the people sitting next to you on the couch, playing the game with you" "If you want to take a philosophical approach, I say adopt this attitude: Laissez-Faire (French - approximately translates to "Let (people) do (as they choose)" or "Let it be"). ---------- After realising how helpful feedback and comments like the above can be, If anyone is willing, I would like to request they take a look at some of my past streams and critique (message privately through this site or on Twitch) https://www.twitch.tv/tidebornassassin Thank you And remember - Never Give Up, Never Surrender, Victory or Death! All the best AJSA Tide out
  2. 12 hours ago, Blurmania 53 said: Thank you for the response I really like Halo too, although, unfortunately it seems that outside of events, not much is going on ... at least when I am online (est + 14), so no luck yet playing with anyone (mainly due to having a very limited amount of Xbox games and time differences I suppose),.. give it time though I guess ... I have only been here for one and a half days so far. While I think about it ... do people use/pay attention to chat and looking for group in the club page? or is it mainly just for announcements and parties for events? Is there a preferred method of communicating with others in the Xbox division (or any division for that matter) ? Thank you
  3. Thank you I will do my best
  4. Hello I just signed up on AJS ... anyway ... I wanted to play destiny again with some other people before 2 comes out I will try to get this club thing sorted tomorrow ... I have not played on console for a long time or played any games for that matter ... I am looking forward to playing again Okay so ... is there anything I need to know about the angry army in particular? or anything about the events/gaming sessions themselves before I try to get involved? Forgive me, I am still trying to figure this out ... I have never joined a gaming group or community before Thank you I apologise if this is an inappropriate place to put this message
