yep. i second that. I personally like games like "easy to learn, hard to master".

Me and other long term veterans have said this numerous times, but I'll say it again.

We do nothing. Joe's a big boy and can look after himself.

The AJSA is a gaming community set up by Angry Joe, no more, no less. We may be the "Angry Army" and us being fans of Joe's youtube content is one of the things that brought us together, but we are not his "White Knight" defenders. Us rallying together to do whatever it is to combat these people and comments would only make things worse for him and give the wrong impressions of what our community is about.

People are free to have there own opinions of Joe's videos including the AJSA members. There are plenty of respected, long term and even ranking members in this community that would agree that Joe's content isn't as good as it used to be... including me.

The best thing to do is ignore this stuff.

and those Rant Videos about hose Bullshit business practice of some Devs and Publisher (Marvel vs Capcom 3, etc...).
What i am still missing, is the 2nd year AJSA anniversary Contest Winner announcement.
But seems like that we (and this whole site) are dead for Joe.

I tend to agree about the content being a lot more 'filler' these days, but it's ultimately AJ's choice because it's his channel so what he does with it, he does with it.
However... leaving the community because of that is -- and I mean no offence -- kinda dumb. There's plenty of people here that waste time flocking to each AJ video and criticize or defend it, sure but at it's core the AJSA is a gaming community... so who cares about that? Most of us are just here to play videogames while the 'men of learning' play with their quill pens anyways so... yeah.
But I get that it's your choice to leave and -- even if I don't get it -- I wish you all the best.

On a side note: Does anyone else miss the gaming controversies videos? Those were great.

When I found Angry Joe's channel in 2011 or 2012, I found it to be refreshing and entertaining on his opinion of reviews, calling out gaming industry bullshit and other gaming content but over the years (esp. late 2015/2016) I have noticed a change in the programming being provided, seeing more and more "filler" content such as reaction style videos which has no relevance (and bottom of the barrel effort) on what the channel was originally made for back in the day and what I have no entertainment value because of the larger and larger amounts of said material put on the channel.

What pains me to see such a great YouTube channel dilute down with irrelevant content bothered me to the point of unsubscribing not once but a second time to see if anything has changed. The community is a different beast which I have higher respect for at this point in time, especially those I've known on here since late 2013. I'd like to stay but I simply cannot continue to support Joe now unless he has a drastic change in the content on his YouTube channel.

For those who've known me for all of this time, I do thank you for conversing with me on all the topics that I have posted in over the years. For Joe's inner circle of friends, get Joe to change his course in content before the channel eventually goes into a downward spiral as I have seen numerous complaints on the discussion page on YouTube about what I have brought up multiple times in the AngryJoeShow subforum.

This might be the last time you see me on this forum unless there are major changes to the channel's quality of content.

    Goodbye,

well it's not neccessary the higher Resolution, improved technology or more Gamefiles that takes a lot of space. It's more the uncompressed Audio/Video Files that take a lot of Space.

Game install size is partly considerated in Game Reviews since early 2000s. Most games had installation options. Minimum installation took less space but the loading times were enormous, while complete installation minimized the loading times but took a huge ammount of Space. Many games got a minus point for "long loading times", which affected the Score.

I upgraded my 6 year old Rig a few weeks ago. Now i have 2 SSDs. A "Standard" SSD with 250GB for the OS, Drivers and Programs and a M2, PCI 3.0 SSD with 525GB for the Games.
Battlefield 1 on HDD: 1 minute Loading time until i joined the Server.
Battlefield 1 on M2 SSD: 10 seconds loading time until i joined the Server.
Once you go with SSD, you don't wanna go back to HDD.

    try this:
    - turn off DVR in the Xbox app
    - boost the network Throttling:
    Open regedit
    Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
There will be an entry for network performance throttling, default value is 10; set it to FFFFFFFF hex (willl look like 0xFFFFFFFF to the right of the entry)
    Reboot"

    - in the BIOS/UEFI check if your RAM has the right timings. Most Mainboards today have a XMP / Profile 1 option, which auto sets the RAM timings
    - Download Afterburner and check (while in game) the CPU Temps
    - Download Ultimate Windows Tweaker 4, go to "privacy" and deactivate all telemetry transfer
    - Download timer tool and check your correct Win10 timings (should be 0.5ms - 1ms)
    - Download Latency Tool and check if you have spikes in the Red (while playing).
    - deactivate unecessary Win10 autostart apps
    - deactivate unecessary Win10 Services

Sorry for the long absence. I'm alright.  Just been behind quite a bit with everything and trying to catch up. I will be moving to another state in May next year so I've been preparing for that.

Getting rid of everything I'm not taking with me, paying bills a few months ahead of time, making sure I have my flight all set and what I need to ship will be taken care of. Just everything that I need to do for the move and working out everything else in terms of catching up. Its been a pain that nothing has been working out as I intended to, but at least once I get settled after the move it opens up wider possibilities for me to get back in sync.

Answer 1: Better graphics, better customization, better gameplay, better missions, HELL OF A LOT LONGER AND BETTER STORY PLOT than the first, etc, In short; better in almost every way.
Answer 2: No. Sorry. There are Broly powers you can learn for your character, but I won't spoil it.
Answer 3: Absolutely. I love single player, and I MORE THAN LOVED this game's single player.
Is this enough to answer your questions, my friends?

i instantly bought Toxikk during the Beta since i saw the possibility of Mutators. INSTAGIIIIIIIB. It's time for Arena Shooters to shine again.
  21. Beatmaster A.C. liked a post in a topic by Apex Spartan in Toxikk: No Classes, No Loadsouts, NO BULLSHIT!
It's what I thought, but if they made a classic 90's arena shooter and added the old school feel, then they pretty much succeeded. You ever played Quake Arena or UT before back in the 2000s or so? Hell even CS.

I mean when you look at it, those games offered you several maps, weapons on them and that's about it, but people played them a lot back then because even that was new.
I think Toxikk does the same. These kind of games keep niche playerbases today mostly because people want more things and variety and I don't blame them. Hell I think the new UT won't be super popular for too long.

I love fast paced arena shooters, but even I get bored after a while now if there is no content. It really depends tho. If it's fun and makes me wanna get better to play in ranked matches then I play it for longer, much longer. I don't know if Toxikk will have competitive matches tho
I think everyone got used to having ranks to unlock, weapons and customizations. I don't see anything bad in it at all. Does it remove skill? Doubtful. Unless it's bullshit that turns your weapon into a aimbot or makes it a lot easier to aim if you got a better scope, but I wouldn't say it's P2W like some people say. If someone has better unlocks than you, obviously the guy just played more than you or is better and gets more points faster than you do.

I would like it if games like Toxikk or new UT became popular again, but I just don't see that happening anymore, sadly. People like to grind nowadays for unlocks or something and it gives a sense of achievement. Unless Toxikk will have ranked, I doubt it will go far because there will be nothing to play for...right?
  22. Apex Spartan liked a post in a topic by Beatmaster A.C. in Toxikk: No Classes, No Loadsouts, NO BULLSHIT!
it's not neccessary the variety in classes or loadouts. It's because the game isn't popular due to poor marketing. UT and Quake hadn't loadouts or classes but they were successful and still wanted. Everyone is waiting for Quake Champions and the new UT. The thing with Toxikk is that it has to make a name for himself. They have to promote the game very hard and bring it to the eSport as fast as they can.

Yeah I don't see these games getting too popular anymore, specially from Indie devs. People just want some variety and classes or loadouts in their games today. I don't blame them, times just change.

have the game since the beta Version. It's cool but sadly the servers were pretty empty.
