  1. Forgive me, Lord Joe, for I have sinned. My last Pre-order sin was 3 years ago, in the form of Deus ex: Human revolution and these are my sins: I have Pre-ordered Warhammer: Vermintide and Total War: Warhammer. May i have your forgiveness in the name of the Lord Joe, The Biscuit and the Holy Sterling?
  2. Fuck yea! This is going to be awesome!
  3. Greetings So I have been playing the early access beta for a couple of days now. The game have a lot of potential, is real fun when everything is running smoothly and is a great evolution to the left4dead formula. BUT! In its current state I saw a lot of problems that should have been fixed by now. Among these are numerous AI bugs, glitches and exploits, random frame rate dropping, game crashes and balance issues. It also seems like if you don't have a really good PC you might encounter these problems more regulary. Me and a friend played the game over the weekend. He had a monster gaming PC that could run everything on the highest quality, while I had a laptop that ran everything on low (it is also quite powerful for a laptop so the game requires some muscle). He ran the game smoothly, never experiencing frame rate drops or crashes. For me it was pretty much random. At one moment I ran the game completely fine, then later I would get weird frame rate issues and sometimes the game would lag so badly it was barely playable (luckily this only happend once). We also brought in two other friends. They barely managed to play from the moment they started playing. Took a couple of games with them tonight. For one of them the game was now working fine, while for the other one it worked fine for a time then she got multiple crashes after crashes until she gave up for the night. Both of them were also playing on laptops, but not quite as powerful as mine. So if you are thinking of picking up the game. I will say it is a great game, but it is quite buggy in its current state. If you own a very good gaming PC you shouldn't have that much problems. Even for me the game was playable most of the time and you can jump back into a game again if you crash or DC, granted you have one of your teammates in your friend list. Most of these problems will most likely be fixed in the upcoming weeks/months. So here's my current score of the game. The game in its current state 6/10 The game when all these problems are fixed 7.5/10 Thanks for reading this post PS: Does Joe plan on reviewing this game? I know it is kinda a minor release, but it is not that many games big games coming out this month. Besides, it's Warhammer! One of the best fantasy universes out there:)
  4. Greetings The last time i played ESO was during the beta, and it was fucking horrendous. I never bought the game, which was a good thing considering little to none of the reported problems from the beta was fixed in the final version of the game. Something Joe pointed out very well in his review of the game. My opinion from a year ago was that as a F2P or B2P game it was average at best, but as a sub game it was absolute trash. But now that it has been b2p for a few months i'm considering to give it a second chance. So how is the game holding up? Has the numerous problems been fixed? (Watch Joe's review if you want to know some of the problems i'm referring to) Is the game balanced for people who don't pay the optional sub fee or buy stuff with IRL money? (P2W) Also Is there a chance Joe or some of the officers (Delrith, SGT Ross, T0nsofun, etc) will make a quick youtube lets play video or a small twitch stream revisiting the game and sharing their thoughts about the game in its current state? Appreciate any constructive response to this thread
  5. What about the Invasion 2 or viking conquest mod?
  6. I recently switched to a newer computer and new TS. So my old TS identity no longer works. I deleted the old one and i am ready to recive a new one but unsure who i shall contact for it.
  7. I can't log in for some reason. I have been a member for some time, but it has been a while since i was last online. I am also using a different computer than before, so i don't know if that is the source of the issue.
  8. Will Joe or Delrith be trying out Total war Attila on stream, let's play or first impression? Even though it would be awesome, I don't think we get a review. Since Joe is extremely busy nowadays and a review requires a lot of time
  9. I might tag along as the Geats or Jutes. When are you thinking of doing the lets play?

  12. Anyone know how I can get the US servers, since Madoran isn't on the EU server list.

  14. Having EU and US servers is nothing new yes. It is pretty much standard in most online games, especially MMO's. But it is the way SOE does it that troubles me. I have played many mmo's over the years like wow, warhammer online, GW2, aion, AoC, lotro, swtor and so on. All of these had both EU and US servers. The ping issue is one of the reasons for this but it is also for reasons like the major timezone difference for some players. But none of these actively tries to prevent you from making a character on a US server. And none of the companies/owners of these games hired in a company that knows nothing about the game and have been notorious for doing an extremely bad job.
  15. Since we might start an AJSA guild in DCUO if angry Joe and the rest of the leaders of the angry army decides to support this game. I just want to make some notifications to the EU fans and maybe Joe himself. As far as the actually game goes i got nothing against it. I played it when it came out and got 2 max levels, but quit it for personal and economic reasons later on. So after yesterdays glorious stream i decided to download it and see how my old characters were doing. But i was immediately reminded why i despise SOE. For those that don't know, SOE wants for some reason to COMPLETELY separate the EU player base and the US. So when you go to their site and they notice you are from a EU country they quite literally makes you chose if you want the US version or the EU version. If you chose the EU version you are redirected to the official EU site for DCUO which is run by a German company called ProSieben. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ProSieben ProSieben is the company SOE has chosen to manage all of the EU player base, all EU servers and generally all of their online games with any connection to the EU player base. But as you might guess, the company is complete shit. - Their servers are complete shit with severe lag and instability - Horrible customer support - The simple act to download and play the game is a process that would give anyone a bloody headache. Those that were around at the PS2 launch might remember them very well. While the SOE servers for US players were lagging something insane, they could atleast play the game. But the EU player base could quite literally not play the game before after almost 48 hours! Since the ProSieben servers couldn't handle the game and all the players. Unfortunately it didn't end there. I had 3 friends i was going to play the game with, 2 were from my own country while 1 were from the US. They had all been in the beta, which meant they could transfer their characters to a SOE server at launch. But since the SOE servers was US only i could not join them and the 2 friends had to make a new account if they wanted an alt on a EU server. Luckily the problems with PS2 became so big that after 48 hours after launch, SOE finally decided to allow EU players to use their servers and added the EU servers to their own. So PS2 is fine for EU players now, though considering their story it is like a looming shadow over the game in case they want to change that. But back to DCUO. So instead of choosing the shitty Prosieben (EU) client i chose the SOE (US) client and downloaded the game. But as i was going to start the game (and i shit you not) the game gave me a message that strait up told me to make a new account because of the simple reason that i was from the EU. added a picture of the message This was an account that i had supported both the early subscription days of DCUO and bought a lot of station cash for PS2 on. So i had 2 choices. Either discard all my max levels and station cash and make a new account. Or chose the shitty ProSieben client without US servers and have a really bad time. If you read the whole post, i thank you for your time and patience
