Can we talk about good shows like Code Geass and it's sequel, FMA and FMA: Brotherhood, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Robotech, Gurren Lagann, Persona 4, Death Note, Hellsing (and Hellsing Ultimate Abridged because it tickles my fancy so much) and stuff?
I hate these shows like Naruto and Bleach that take 50 episodes to do what a show like Code Geass does in one episode.
EDIT- Don't forget the features like Grave of the Fireflies, Princess Mononoke, Castle of Cagliostro, Tokyo Godfathers and many other classics.
EDIT 2- I'll likely watch Steins;Gate soon or The Irresponsible Captain Tyler (it's very old-school looking but I think that gives it some added charm)

I always choose to be good, literally, the epitamy of ethical and moral perfection. Simply to see who is the worst to me, then i play evil and destroy them first, then everyone else and there distant relatives and livestock.
Although, on witcher my first playthrough, i played as a horrible bastard, was funny.

Personally, I'm reserving judgement until the game is released. She's just one of the artists, not lead artist. She doesn't get final say, so chances are that she won't have major impact on the game other than her artwork. Pretty sure Beck will remain male, although Call might get a bit more focus to make her happy.
That said, she's not a good community manager. She should be replaced on that front with someone less likely to stir up controversy.

The video creator is totally baiting people. Who gives a crap if she's a feminist who hasn't played Megaman? She's an artist on the game. It's not the end of the world. I backed the game, I feel secure in backing it. I have no regrets and nothing that baitass vlogger says is going to change that.
FUCK that video. That dude is so condescending with his tone. He spend FOUR MINUTES playing with people's emotions to get to the point where he tries to get a rise out of them before he even starts to mention what his video will be about. By the time he gets to anything resembling an issue we're like halfway through. He has said NOTHING of relevance other than to stir controversy. Shame on you for even sharing that video, TC.

Thoughts on the video
1: Don't really like the tone of the start since Kickstarter has had a very large number of great projects come from it. The guy who made this is just awful.
2: For an artist, her artwork looks terrible as does that design which confuses me as to why she would be hired as an artist and to design robots
3: Beyond Two Souls certainly treated the badass female lead well, only one attempted rape scene and shower. David Cage has learned restraint.
4: Lying to your community is not a good way for a community manager to start out
5: Wanting to switch the gender of the main character just to do it is pointless and there is no shortage of Kickstarter games with a female lead or a choice between male and female, I think the vast majority of what I have supported has had a female lead or a choice.
6: Wouldn't a mod edit edition to a post without deleting anything technically be a mod answer to that post?
7: Locking twitter. ....That's a poor choice
8: Locking twitter for being asked questions as a community manager....is a very poor choice. Deleting things, a community manager should know not to be that stupid.
Final thoughts. Her art is terrible and the first thing she did was lie to the community and that isn't a good way to get a job, fire her. Feminist issues and thoughts are irrelevant. No one should support a video this jackass makes again.

1. Mass Effect 3 was my favorite. The game systems are the best. More fun is always a plus. I actually prefer the original ending to the Extended Cut.
2. Wrex is my boy! Although really I loved everyone, even Ashley and she was the freaking space racist.
3. ME3's ending didn't ruin the series for me at all. I beat it, was happy I played one of the greatest game series ever made to its conclusion and then started all over again from Mass Effect 1.

I chose peace on Rannock, because I rewrote the heretics on ME2. Ending, I always saw the Illusive Man as a fanatic and never trusted Cerberus, so I couldn't go control so went with destroy and mourned my synthetic allies and EDI as well as everyone I lost during the third game. Out of the romance options for the male Shepard I found Ashley was my preferred choice then Tali, Liara, Miranda, then Jack. When the Genophage came up I cured it because Wrex was my bro dame it (best thing about the Citadel DLC), and then Garrus right under. But the most memorable moment I had was sticking that motherf***er Kia Lang and hearing Shepard saying "That was for Thane you son of a bitch" hell yeah.
NiceGuyNeon liked a post in a topic by Legolas_Katarn in Anyone excited for Mirror's Edge 2?
A little. I really enjoyed the first one anytime it was just about running and avoiding things. I really wasn't a fan of the combat or shooting that would have been better left out and there were a lot of areas that really slowed you down that don't feel like they should have been a part of it.
NiceGuyNeon liked a post in a topic by Kaz32 in What is your favorite story twist in any media whether it's games, movies or tv shows? (Spoiler possible)
Yes, the twist is badass.
So no more Ys songs that you can share in the obscure video game music thread? We're waiting for the other ones!

The guy has been given a refund due to paypal's buyer protection and he was also given a free Xbox One, I guess the moral is that stupidity can pay off very well.
Waiting to hear about the twist that he was the one who sold himself the picture.
That's a smile that says, just as I planned.
I played games at three so yes, absolutely.
Kaz32 liked a post in a topic by NiceGuyNeon in What is your favorite story twist in any media whether it's games, movies or tv shows? (Spoiler possible)
The Usual Suspects is one of the best crime-thriller movies ever made. I won't spoil it, but there's a reason why it won Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars. The movie literally blows people away. Good stuff!
Bimpy782 liked a post in a topic by NiceGuyNeon in Why Do You Think Call Of Duty Sucks?
I liked Call of Duty 4's campaign because of the pacing. The series lost that after CoD4. Everything else lost the tension.
As for multiplayer, CoD4 was fun, but I also really liked Black Ops' gambling modes like One in the Chamber, etc. Zombies was fun for awhile but very limited.
Beyond the brief bits of cool ideas Black Ops had for its multiplayer, the series has done little to entice me to stick with it. There are simply newer, more fresh shooter experiences on the market that I'd rather spend my time with.
NiceGuyNeon liked a post in a topic by Jackie in Anyone Considering a Wii U?
If you give me the choice between Pikmin 3 and Assassins Creed 3 (18+) I would always go with Pikmin 3, and in my eyes, everyone who goes with that boring, shity game that AC3 is (besides naval battles, naval battles are freaking awesome) just because it's 18+ and Pikmin is 3+, doesn't deserve to play a game as great as Pikmin 3. Zelda and Super Mario... are you kidding me? Those are amazing games. How can you not love them? How can you not prefer them over your generic 16+ FPS bullshit? The main reason I don't get really mad at you is, that I feel sorry for you. And I'm pretty sure, in 10 years you will understand why.
NiceGuyNeon liked a post in a topic by Abexuro in Anyone Considering a Wii U?
And that is exactly why I go for Nintendo and not Sony/Microsoft, I can get the Xbox/Playstation experience on my PC. The Wii U on the other hand is not a standard console, it has something special, something I can't get with my PC, which makes it the only console worth buying for me.
NiceGuyNeon liked a post in a topic by Legolas_Katarn in best mario RPG
I haven't played all of the Mario & Luigi games but my favorite so far have been the first two Paper Mario games, I didn't like Super and I didn't like what I heard about Sticker Star. I'm not sure which of the Paper Mario games I like more, it's been years since I played Thousand Year Door and a long time since I've played the first one.
Legolas_Katarn liked a post in a topic by NiceGuyNeon in 25 Years of Ys
Earlier this year I became an Ys nut like you wouldn't believe. I heard the opening song for Ys Origin and was just floored by how good it was. So I bought Ys Origin on Steam and beat it three times. Bought Ys I and II afterwards and tore through that. Bought Oath in Felghana and beat that as well. I waited for months to get a concrete date for Celceta's release date, and went out and bought a Vita so I could play it and Ys SEVEN. I played every Ys game this year with the exception of PS2's Ark of Napishtem and the Japan only Ys 5: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand (which I hear is considered the worst game in the series and will be in dire need of a proper remake and US release later ).
All the games with the exception of SEVEN and Celceta, were made for PC first and were finally given English releases on Steam over the last year, so I'm hoping we get Ark of Napishtim on PC really soon from XSEED. But the series made such an impact on me I went and bought a Vita just for the games I couldn't play on PC.
I haven't had the most time in the world to tear into Memories of Celceta with a slightly busy schedule of my own but I've got maybe four hours under my belt right now and I have to say for being a "beginner-friendly" entry in the series all they really managed to do is up the number of potions you can carry (a big help for some to be sure, that and SEVEN and Celceta do seem easier than say Oath in Felghana). But the level of challenge is still very much intact. The scope of this game is really large. By four hours into any of the pre-Ys SEVEN games you were a good way into the story, but in this game I'm still exploring the forest and trying to map it out. The idea of Adol as an adventurer is played on really well with the entire concept of mapping out an explored territory.
For those of you playing Celceta, what do you think of the game? What difficulty are you on? How many hours are you into the game? Did you get the Silver Anniversary Edition or the regular one? Were you like me and bought a Vita specifically for Ys?
For those of you only on PC, what do you think of the series? Do you like the old-school level of challenge (the PC games are tougher than the two handheld only releases)? Have you attempted speed-running any of the games? And most importantly, which game is your favorite?
