    Tough choice, really tough choice.

I'll go with the Dunedain of the North from the Lord of the Rings. They're elusive, responsible, skilled, and badass. Whenever I play an RPG I try my best to build a Ranger like the Dunedain. Green/brown outfits, bows, etc.

Probably the official AJSA server, never mind.

So the news is that the developer of Candy Crush named King filed a lawsuit against Stoic Studios because the Banner Saga has the word "Saga" that's in their Candy Crush Saga game title......................................

I've spent the last 3 weeks farming tons of metal to make this (in my opinion) amazing Castle, and its time to blow it up!!

So we're gonna have a "Raid the Castle" Event on February 6th at 8:00 PM EST!!

Basically we will split whoever is on and participating into 2 teams, Attackers and Defenders! The goal is simple, raid the castle and reach "the throne room". The winning team will get rewarded with my own personal "loot cache" of Ammo/Guns/C4/Metal i have left, it will obviously be split among the winning team's participants!

    Please come raid my house!!

::Edit:: EVERYONE is welcome to this event, new and veteran Rust players. I will do my very best (and accept donations ;p) to farm gear/guns/ammo/C4 to give out to people before the event.

What server is it going to be in?

We now officially have our own rust server. There are many ways to connect but this is the easiest.
First press F1 to open up console and then type:
net.connect 69.39.239.214:28515 Once connected the next time you open up the game you should be able to go to history and then connect that way.

So it seems that some companies are trying to impose a hierarchy similar to Television on the internet. The companies that run ISPs are trying to change the laws to limit data and place favor on commercial websites over random ones. If they have their way we could be having to buy "packages" like a social package for Facebook and Google plus (maybe youtube as well) or an entertainment package for Netflix and Hulu. Like a site that's not included in one of our packages? Too bad, use data to visit it and go over the data limits we're imposing to stop you from enjoying that niche content. Boogie explains it really well; basically this could spell trouble.

One of the reasons I stopped watching TV a few years ago was because of how ridiculous everything got with all the cable companies and just how add ridden everything was. I left to the internet and now those disgusting practices these companies invoke have followed me here. I prefer things like the Content Patch, The AngryJoe Show, AlchestBreach, Polaris, The Jimquisition; I consistently choose these over the content on television and they know it. The cable companies know it, so now they move their oligopoly here to the Wild West of the internet to impose these dinosaur business practices.
This is the same kind of garbage SOPA and PIPA were championing.

Keep informed everyone. Awareness is our best defense.

The Xbox controller looks really nice, but I'm still probably not going to get an Xbox One.

Has anyone noticed this overhaul to the comment sections? For the last few days I've been unable to even see comments on Youtube let alone reply to any. I think this was a bad move on Google's part. They're using a popular service, Youtube, to drive people towards another, Google +; they aren't improving Google + to entice people.

Google is going about this the wrong way.

I don't draw fan art much. But I'll post some of the few pieces of fan art-related stuff I do have.

    World of Warcraft Fan-Art

Most of these are of other people's characters. Some paid commission, some as a favor for guild members.
(click the 'Spoiler' button below to view them. Image Heavy and may not be safe for work)

    D&D Inspired Art

These are mostly personal pictures of my own characters.

    Original (recent) Concept Work

  22. Legolas_Katarn liked a post in a topic by Recoveryanonymous in Fire Emblem: For or Against Perma-Death
I like the perma-death in Fire Emblem; it makes me consider all of my moves carefully. Without it, I'd probably just end up throwing units away to bail my lords out of situations or not caring if half my team is wiped out in a battle. Perma-death puts a greater emphasis on tactics.

On a more thematic note though, it raises the stakes of each battle. This fight they're in really could be their last if I'm not careful. Something is added to the character too when the player is responsible for their entire "arc", I feel. You can't take everyone into each battle, so the ones you do bring are made more important or at least relevant in the players' eyes. You are responsible for the characters; they live or die by the tactics you employ. It's a clever device for the story that also carries over into gameplay - A marriage of story and mechanics.
