Witcher 3 and Zelda Wii U.

    That is pretty much it.

Also the re-release of Homeworld of course but that isnt new.

Am I the only one who isn't going to be able to believe any hype for 2015? Too many games this year were waaaaaaaayyyyy over hyped and did not deliver *cough* Destiny, Titanfall *cough*.

Just this year I'm going to put my expectations a bit lower for almost all the games, and I urge you to do the same

Excuse me as a customer I can judge however I want that is my RIGHT as a customer. If you screw me over with a bad game in the past I have every right to judge the next game they put out however I want. It is OUR money we spend we worked hard for and sweat for. Also the fact that there is no denying how the triple A titles have gone the last several years have been quick cash grabs with sub par game content and micro transaction in almost every single game put out I understand how the customers feel and why they judge the way they do.

This man gets it right. Give this man a coupon that has already expired for a free DLC.
Players. Stop being so judgemental. When you get a game, you should be happy that you payed 60$ for it and 15$ extra for the DLC that we clearly didn't cut out of the game.

You pre-ordered Dragon Age: Inquisition?  Here, have this horse and this armor. NOW BUY OUR MULTIPLAYERS CHESTS!!!!

And the new Star Wars movie? Don't worry. There won't be one special edition of it. There will be 5!!! Isn't that fantastic? We will add in some trade negotiations and more standing around, solving nothing.

    Buy everything now!!!

You can even use the Wii remote and Gamecube controller (provided you buy the adapter).

Remove "political agenda" from that sentence and you'll see the mindset. Disagreement equals harassment now.

This thread's probably going to be locked since the AJSA decided GamerGate is political and not gaming related.

I think CD Projekt RED is pretty good actually with their no DRM policy and how they run their storefront. I've yet to be burned by them, I should say.

If everything the op says is true, that's BS, not that I doubt it, just stating that just in case...If that is true though, Anita should be bringing that to light, which she'll get support from gamers for. But instead she tries to portray the gamers as the bad guys for enjoying games whether it has girls or not, cuz if not, sexist, if it does, sexist. Don't really wanna go in depth in THAT direction, but while I agree the sexism for the op's point is mind blowing, it doesn't really validate Anita's viewpoints simply because it is barely brushing the ballpark she's trying to sell.

As for John...To an extent I understand what you mean. I mean women are not put in the same league as men in professional sports for a reason, not even golf treats them equally, and none of them are complaining about this separation. HOWEVER, we do live in a world that if they WANT to be brutish manly thuggy hulk smashers, they are welcome to, and nobody has the right to tell them no, and fact is even if the average professional athlete woman still isn't put in the same league of pro sports as professional athletic man, they are still professionals, and they'll still curbstomp any non professional man at their passion (as well as some pros too, just not average compared to average). Videogames are the very FIRST area where a woman can do wdf they want, even if it's not something they do in reality, and if they want to be playing a girl lifting 2 macho men and bonking their heads without breaking a sweat, let them.

Also, we have evolved beyond the point where our "function" is beyond hunting animals and birthing children. People have value and significance to humanity far beyond basic primal functions, and saying :
Is so full of wrong. Men don't always bring home the bacon, and if a family has a woman do it instead, they are not necessarily handicapped. Women can also be valuable intellectually too. Women contributed to making the world safe too, not just men, so even if you think they can only enjoy being more than that simply because the world is safe, they played part in earning that.

This thread made me look into the last page of the #gamergate thread to have a look at it.
All the people were extremely civilized with each other and the reason for locking the thread is bs.
As such, I emailed the threadlocker about this demanding he makes up an better reason because there were NO Valid ones for locking it.
  19. Recoveryanonymous liked a post in a topic by Sol Omega in Forum censorship and my take on it
Yeah, it felt a bit abrupt to just close the thread and (as far as I know and saw) delete any #GG threads that pop up. I don't understand why close it and prevent speaking about it here. It's not because it's a political thing. I mean, it is, but we're allowed to speak of politics as long as it greatly pertains to gaming. Which it did.

And it's not because it got derailed or trolled. I've derailed and trolled enough things to see a failed thread that should be dealt with, and the GG thread wasn't one of them. All it was people sharing information and thoughts. All things considering, it being about a heated topic, it was doing quite well. And as Rainversey said, it was civil.

Are you guys doing this so we don't end up attracting unwanted attention or something? Or is this because of Angry Joe himself and his personal thoughts on GamerGate? If that's the case, then lemme pull this out of context from our CoC:

  20. Recoveryanonymous liked a post in a topic by Shagger in Forum censorship and my take on it
I also have to agree, the forum policing is starting to look very heavy handed to me. There really wasn't anything wrong with the GG thread that I could see. People were passionate about their opinions, but hardly trolling and being nasty to each other. I've nervous about putting up my opinions that are, shall we say, "well of centre" because I afraid of getting in trouble.
  21. Recoveryanonymous liked a post in a topic by Gone too in Forum censorship and my take on it
Given the latest outbursts in what I consider borderline censorship of various threads and especially the GamerGate thread I feel like saying some things.
Ive never done a drama infused good bye thread and maybe if Im not banned this isnt one. However I cant help but feel the angry army is getting kind of hypocritical. The idea as stated by Joe himself was to have a group of people who fought for consumers rights in gaming and AJ's whole schtick is doing exactly that. To remove the biggest consumer revolt in gaming ever from the forum is not great.
That and some of the latest choices in moderarion make me sad and I thought I should express that, take it as feedback if you will. If anyone wants to talk or play something or anything I'll be on Steam @ auronkast.
  22. Recoveryanonymous liked a post in a topic by Mr_E_Meatshield in Submission for Gaming Controversies for 2014
Finding out that developers and game journalists are colluding with each other and trying to expose it, which in turn led to said journalists trying to cover it up was quite the controversy. Also, considering how they're still trying to cover the issue up behind the misogyny and sexist BS it's a pretty big one. Add to that how a lot of people are unfortunately believing their side of it, not to mention how a lot of sites are banning the discussion of it, makes it even more controversial.
  23. Recoveryanonymous liked a post in a topic by Twenty9Twelve in I've forgotten how to play games on my own
For the last 8 months I've been playing with a group of friends on the PS3. 3 or 4 nights a week, casually jumping on FIFA or Battlefield or GTA or whatever took our fancy. That has been pretty much all of what I have done in gaming the last 8 months. But then about a month ago, all my friends jumped onto next-gen and bought PS4s (co-inciding with Destiny and FIFA 15's releases), but I haven't had the money to get mine yet. I figured it wouldn't bother me that much, I'll wait a couple of months and save up the money, I already had loads of games to play that I never got round to playing properly because I've been too busy playing with my group. But I've noticed something, and I think it's finally dawned on me.

I've forgotten how to play games on my own.

So I'm looking at my games library now and there are 11 games with single player modes that I haven't finished (that's not including what I've got on my hard drive). I figured I'd be happy to just go back to them and finish them off, maybe restart if it's been too long and I can't remember things. But for the last 2 weeks my gaming pattern has essentially been "I really want to play that game" *plays for half an hour* "meh, maybe I'll do something else for a bit, I'm kind of bored" rinse, repeat.

I used to be happy playing single player, as a gamer I have always defined myself as a single player guy. Yea, co-op is fun, but nothing beats playing through a great single player experience. Only now it's like I can't even bring myself to sit down and play a game for an hour without getting bored and switching my console off. And it doesn't matter what game it is, I've got South Park: Stick of Truth sat on my shelf, I can't even bring myself to put the disk in because every time I look at it I just go "meh, not today".

In a month or 2, I'll probably have the money there to have a PS4 and I'll be able to rejoin my friends, but I'm kind of worried. There's some really big single player games coming (Dragon Age: Inquisition and Batman: Arkham Knight in particular), games I've been waiting for and wanting for years. Something tells me thought, when I have those games they're going to end up sat there on the same shelf as the rest, gathering dust while I go have a FIFA night.

I'm curious to see if anyone else has had similar experiences.

Yeah, I LOVED this show, I still quote Chief to this day. I do think the show ended on a sad note, I like to think that the Byte episodes are like for filming the show so they are not really dead. Of course my favorite episode is this
