While I have my own channel I would be up for doing some collaborative work on a few videos. Either something as simple as playing a few recorded matches or something more.

I think it would be cool to have a channel for us small gamers to use to jump into the spotlight. We are self motivated, hard working, and beat to death for videos that get 50 views. I believe it would be cool for someone to run and keep care of a quality channel for us small content creators to elaborate together. We would get to meet each other and help each other become better at what we love to do. I can't be the only one thinking this, can I? Anyway here is a video I made a while back.

*NOTE: After recent suggestions that a Minecraft server purely for building is too specific, the request has been altered to include survival and possibly contests (Hungergames/PvPvE/etc.). Also, due to the unexpected amount of volunteers, I must unfortunately say that they will be tested first rather than automatically given teacher position. Volunteers will be tested first, then when the server has teachers non-volunteers will be tested if they apply for a position.

So I have yet to see a single topic about a Angry Army Minecraft build team, and figured what the heck, might as well give it a go.
Let me start off by giving some background of me and the game. I've been building for a few months but have found a decent talent for building and have had lots of support in compliments and critique on the forum I use to showcase my builds. The game itself, in case you haven't heard of it, is a retro graphic game about mining, crafting, building, fighting, and really anything else you could think of. Which brings me to my Pros and Cons.

    Pros
    - Fairly cheap ($20)
    - Easy to learn (comparatively)
    - Unbelievably compatible to any play style
    - Open world
    - Open to creativity

    Cons
    - Generally not fun without friends/other people
    - Eventually requires creativity/artistic talent
    - A great deal of lag if you play on a laptop or old desktop
    - A great deal of bugs
    - Generally has low content depending on playstyle (Fighting/Building/Crafting/etc.)

I realize I'm not the best builder, and am open to suggestions as well as giving the leader to position to a better builder. I just happen to be the first here. Also, I can't pay for servers so if that's a problem then I would gladly give that position or the entire position of leader to someone else.

List of Volunteers to be tested for the team (Ignore this, just a list of people who have already volunteered in advance to be a part of the team)
    - LoneWolf
    - MrAckle
    - Wintermanv3
    - TheNorthian
    - smoking0_0gun
    - aConsoleCouple (aka ElvenBlossom)
    - SirStriped
    - BSB (BSWraithmaw)
    - Nightheaven
    - DEADMUFFINMAN
    - SANGUIS
    - Ender
    - gabedude123
    - Drmurk
    - Dyzzles
    - EyesWL
    - Mighty Falcon
    - BlondishMist748 *BANNED from AJSA; no profile available for viewing

List of unconfirmed volunteers to be tested for the team (Again, just ignore this)
    - Jjr.
    - Sir Scoops

List of absolute must have volunteers (Coding, redstone, able to support server extensively, etc.; not necessarily all builders)
    - MaxterG (Able to use redstone; volunteering to build)
    - Oxyorum (Able to program)
    - Dr. Xeno Pootis (Able to use redstone; volunteering to build)

When it comes to co-operative airship management games (a genre which granted doesn't have many options), this is easily the best. With a nice variety of ships and weaponry as well as a community that is still going strong and the strong possibility of further developments by Muse, I believe that this would make an excellent addition to the Angry Army's arsenal. After all, an army can't do much worse than float into battle guns blazing on an airship. If you're still not convinced, check out the TGS Battle Royale starring our very own commander in chief; Angry Joe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxEy4hSyr54
    Pros:
Wide selection of ships and weaponry to choose from. Still being strongly supported by the developer who also like to jump into games with the community. Fun gun-play and a strong emphasis on co-operation.  Class system means that there is a role for everybody. Gets even better with friends playing together via team-speak.
    Cons:
Not the easiest game to get into if you're new (especially when steering the ship). Matches can take a while to get underway.

Me and my buddy played the game Knack all the way through last night, and going into it I saw the poor reviews the game had gotten (1/2 stars) and my expectations was a blow through beet em up game. I expected a Skylanders type of game. What I got was a feeling I haven't had since playing the Jak and Daxter series.

I should probably say now that I play platforming games primarily: Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Rachet and Clank, Spyro, Mega Man X, and Sly Cooper. All great classics and games that I will show my kids. These game earned their place in the hall of fame. And now I will present the newest member: Knack!

Knack is a creation by the Doctor made up of relics. These relics power everything. They are powerful weapons as well. The Orcs have been rising up and trying to strike down the humans, but Knack is suppose to shift the war in favor of the humans. I know what your thinking, Generic! All I can say without spoiling anything is that this game has some surprising moments that truly make you feel bad for these characters. I walk away knowing all the character names for their unique heroic moments, I cant even remember the main bad guys name from Jak 2.

What started off to be a cheesy game turned into a long, exciting, meaningful story.

Now the gameplay, the meat of the game. What I believe made this game get such low reviews was that it is a platformer. Platformers were popular way back in the playstation 2 era. Now shooters and Assassins Creed like combat games are what is popular. The sweet nostalgia I get from playing a well funded, thought out, NEW platformer for a NEW console was absolutely amazing. The power ups that you get with collectibles adds dynamic and replay ability to the game. A Jak and Daxter style of combat, and a coop option makes this game a must have. I recommend playing on hard so this game doesn't turn into a standard Beat em up game. Hard gives you the frustrating fun of dying in one, rarely two hits, so yea, you will die: ALOT. This is the most enjoyable way to play the game though. Its what makes this game shoot up into my number 6 spot of platforming games. Only behind Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Mega Man X, Sly Cooper, and Spyro. Those are some formidable opponents.

The only problem I have with the game is that the second player is just there to help, he isn't part of the story, he never gets any real ability. But this is a small problem.

Knack is a game that you will have great fun with. It tells so many stories that gets you to cheer for so many characters. This game is a MUST PLAY for gamers of the great age of Platforming! Sony surprised me with this new character that I know look at as the face of Playstation 4, and I now give a nice salute to him too. Knack gets a 9/10 for the average gamers, but gets a 10/10 to all platform lovers. PLAY IT NOW!
