I think it's because the way they built up the announcement made the reveal feel like this:

 
Reading up on the PC version, seems like the only difference from the original is the upscaling, and I think the PSOne Classic on the PS3 and Vita already do that too. There are people who are still going to buy this, but most likely not the amount they expect.
 
Also something to think about is whether or not this'll be a downloadable title or if it will have a physical disc release and how much it'll be.

I played almost every FF game:
FF IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, XII, XIII, Tactics, a bit of Tactics Advance... XIV Beta...
Rite now I do not have most of them and even though I do have FFVII on my PSX, I want to get 1 more copy in the future anso for PSX and now I will probably pick up this remake as well.
But... I also think that FFVII is not the best. Not even in a series but on PS One / PSX. For example IX looks way better.
 
But I would love to be able to play like an "extra content" a side story of Sephiroth for example

  OH NO! Really ?! You need manpower and money to make a game? HOLY SHIT thanks I didn't know that. You are right it is better to remaster a game that no one wants instead the one people want

I'm kinda sceptic posing links of my own videos but sometimes I make something that is quite unique and I just have to share it with as many people as I can.  The only thing I hope for I to get a rating and/or comment under the video because i really like interacting with other people and see their reaction after watching "my creation"
 
Some time ago I made a video I called "HOW TO BE A JET NOOB" and since my channel is small, the only way I could share it was sending the link to few bigger channels. It helped cause it got quite a lot of views at least for my standards (smth like 6k views) and I think it deserves at least 200k but lets go back to the point.
This video I one of those videos that are good enough that I watched it like 20 times and I didn't get bored and this is why I know this is something worth watching something that other people will love it as well.
 
I hope I will get some feedback from you guys

I won't support their games untill they doing smth like this. Keep in mind that Joe is not the only one having problems with them it's everyone. There are companies wort supporting though like Ubisoft for example who clearly said we can upload and monetize ANY of their games giving all the links we need to send to YT. yea there are few restrictions but nothing major.
