I shouldn't even have to explain why this one is getting locked.

Having opinions on the AJSA isn't "against the CoC". I don't know where you got that from. As long as it's about games and not about politics, it's good.

But hijacking the thread for your amusement is against the rules.

Yeah I liked the Innovation in TLAD, so I'm sorta glad it got a GTA V makeover.
One thing I'm not fond of in the update are the facemasks. Unfortunately my character's head is too big (much like its real-life counterpart) and clips through the mask. And the Team armor is kinda underwhelming and also shockingly low-rez. I'ma take some pictures/video of it later, but it looks like crap. Maybe it's just my internet? Anyone like the new additions?

Not a fan of any PvP multiplayer in GTA. I prefer missions. Still waiting on that mysterious Heists DLC....

    The Last Team Standing Update

So starting today, Rockstar has released their newest update to the game. Last Team Standing seems to focus on the gametype of the same name, allowing players to create custom jobs of the LTS variety. It also introduces two new weapons, three new vehicles (including 2 motorcycles from GTA IV: The Lost and Damned) and a new armor called Bulletproof Helmets. These are supposed to functionally give you some enhanced protection against headshots. How well they work... well I intend to find out soon.

Here's an overview of some of the basic additions to the game.

    EVENT WEEKEND: OCT 3rd - 5th

Looks to be your typical event weekend. You got your sweepstakes, your photo contests, and your livestream event. The things worth pointing out are the 50% discount (because holy cow, you need to accumulate a lot of money to get what you want in this game), the 20% bonus Crew RP for some quicker leveling, and the double RP rates for LTS that stacks with the Crew RP bonus for 40% RP in LTS.

Is LTS my favorite gametype? Nah not really. When doing the tutorial I was pretty good at it (in fact I was the sole survivor on my team a couple of times), but that was when I was armed with naught but a pistol and a shotgun. Things are a bit more complicated now. But I'll give it a shot if there's some Angry Army soldiers who wanna play.

...What? No this isn't for posting pictures of your character's updated wardrobe. We already have a topic for that.
(And my character is still looking snazzy...)

As the title implies, this is the place to go for info on GTA V's latest updates, including discussing the newest additions to the game. (or... *ahem* ommissions.) And also to organize players and groups for event weekends or general haberdashery.

I'm not going to mince words right now, but there's enough reason I probably should close the topic down already. The OP asked a question and that question got answered a while ago. Quite a while ago. Significantly long enough that the answer is slowly becoming buried in defensive logical gymnastics about whether CoD is a good or a bad game, whether Battlefield is as good of a series as people say it is, and whether hate is a convenient term or an effective description of why people dislike it.

If you read the topic and the opening post, you can see that the issue is a question about CoD's status with the AJSA. It's not about winning people over or turning people away from CoD, and there is really no more talk about that original discussion anymore.

You're all welcome to open a discussion of what your personal opinions are of CoD. But for what the topic has been made for has been answered and is now going off the rails. So I will be shutting this down to the tune of a previous post I made where I answer why the AJSA hasn't gone all in on CoD and what it would take for that to happen.

Because that is what you asked. "Why isn't the Angry Army going all in with Call of Duty".
When we go "all in" on a game, we literally mean "all in". Servers, officers, clans, events, etc.
If all you want is to have a clan tag and organize battles, you can do that. By all means. It'll be up to you to maintain that with other people to play with though, because the AJSA doesn't "provide" you with players. What the AJSA does is act as a staging area and a forum to organize a group of players with interest in playing a franchise, not say "hey everyone, play this game right now do it go". (although inevitably that's what happens any time a big-name game is released. especially if Joe does a review of it)
No one is telling you that you can't play CoD with other people, but we're not here to tell people arbitrarily to play CoD or whatever game comes out. If the interest is there, people will want to play it naturally and leaders will naturally step up and take charge. And then what we do is give them a subforum and a shiny badge.

Also just a reminder that if this becomes an officially supported game, that doesn't mean Joe will be playing it 100%. The goal of making this a supported game is not so everyone can play with Joe (although if he is online, feel free to interact with him). The goal is for everyone to play together, as a community.

If you like COD then that's your right to play it and have an opinion. You can't just expect everyone to get on board with your opinion. There is a lot of time, thought and effort that goes into the AJSA and our supported games. And the reason that they are supportive games is because the AJSA supports them. As in a large number of members, not just a handful.
So while I respect your point of view, unfortunately the support just isn't there. And that is why COD isn't supported. You can defend your argument if you want, but writing off CoDs dissidents as elitists or lumping them into some gaming cliche isn't going to win many people over.

    Oh my God.

Yeah you guys are gonna love this: a blog post that outlines all the features, a total of 89 things, that have been crippled or otherwise axed from the game.

    http://ts4news.com/post/94541924952/89-features-missing-from-the-sims-4

The game will have mod support, but not much can help a game that's fundamentally broken. Such as how other Sim's lives don't progress unless you take direct control of them, lots being restricted to flat 50x50 surfaces, all structures having to have the same foundation (no poolhouses or sheds) and restricting them to 2 floors.

Also Sims 4 apparently only allows for a RAM of 4GB, so one wonders how much one can actually mod The Sims.

I stress to as many people in the AJSA would listen, do not buy The Sims 4.

There's now a DCUO channel on Teamspeak for you guys to organize raids/PVP and set up Leagues of your own.

There's no officially supported AJSA League... yet. Though with just a few more votes I think that official support is inevitable on DCUO.

I play mostly on PS3, but I'm able to jump on PC possibly as well. The Playstation servers probably won't be the "favorite" of the AJSA, but it's easy for me and my friends to jump on when we wanna play together.

So yeah, you guys are free to create and join your own groups until official support comes, but just please don't squat on "Angry Army" or "The Others" guild names hoping to be made leader of the official guild. We'll organize someone to jump onto DCUO as the Officer and y'all can join the official group too.

Also, whoever came up with Corporate Commandos and showed up on Joe's stream was hilarious. High fives to you guys.

Now before I get to what I'm about to say, I feel it's necessary to establish that this is mostly speculation and not backed up by 100% fact. But here goes:

There's some evidence suggesting that this hacking attack on Phil Fish was phony.

For one thing the hacker supposedly stole ALL of his pertinent information, including social security number and government documents, from his email server.
Even pretending that Phil Fish actually kept all of that on his email server, despite that happening Phil Fish retained control of his Twitter account long enough to post an angry rant, declare that his company and Fez were both up for sale, and then personally delete his account.

The person who also released that info claimed to be from /V/ and was both a mod of 4chan.org and the leader of Anonymous.

    1. /v/ isn't capitalized
    2. 4chan doesn't have mods, they have "janitors" that are allowed to delete posts.
    3. 4chan hates the anonymous movement nowadays.
    4. There is no leader of anonymous.

This has lead me to question the legitimacy of Phil Fish's apparent personal attack. It wouldn't be the first time a personality on the internet has claimed to be hacked.

And it certainly isn't the first time Phil Fish has said something shocking on Twitter, either out of liking to create drama or his own personal paranoia.
