Welcome back!  We've also added a Discord server for live chat since you've been away: https://discordapp.com/invite/0iHbkwYao3Pl1zdj

What would you like your new title to be?

    Hello folks,
I was here back at the launch of AJSA in 2013, but had to leave because of school soon after I joined.
    Therefore, I thought a re-into was appropriate.

My name is Oxyorum and I am was a professional otaku. Since anime quality has been on the decline as of late, I have abandoned that title.
I'm from the U.S. I tend to play TF2 a bunch, with the ocassional SWTOR gameplay for the story, OSRS, space engineers, elite dangerous, etc. A full list can be found on my steam profile because I'm not typing them all out.
I'm getting back into Warframe again, so if anyone wants to do T4 void, hit me up, my username is the same. (We're using your keys though, because I don't have any /s)

Anyways, you'll probably see me around here fairly often, when I'm not busy. Hope to meet your acquaintances and such. Toodles.

I'm not volunteering to build, since my building skills are still pretty meh.
However, let me know if you gents need any help related to server setup, by PM, preferably. Been playing minecraft for about 3 years now, and I've been administrator for Tekkro Gaming Network for a year plus. I've managed various linux servers during this time for packs like Voltz, and FTB Unleashed, as well as coded many plugins for TGN. For those that want to verify, look up TGN forums. My name on there is "Oxy-sama"

    Universal Followers Overhaul
    Dungeon Pit Fighter
    Sorcery (the quest)
    SkyRe (awesome!)
    Better Towns (all)
I use about 60 mods total, these are just some my favorite ones.

I agree with the above poster. Eve is a game where you have to be attentive to many details. Play smart, you don't get screwed over.

I started playing this again a few days ago and would love to see this getting picked up by the AJSA.

Lol, that was the case for me until recently.
Now, I'm trying to find something else to play that grasps my attention. I've been playing a lot of TF2 meanwhile I find that game.

That's not their choice. Its the way IPB3 works in terms of following a topic. You can change a variety of settings related to this by going to My Settings, and then going to notification preferences in your User Control Panel.

EDIT: The guy above me has an image of the settings.

    Hello guys,

    Reasoning for Request:
I think it would be great if we had a presence in Star Wars the Old Republic, an MMO developed by BioWare, which by extension is owned by EA (Shoot those EA bastards!). In all honesty, although the game shows some EA trademark tendecies when releasing new patches and witht he cash shop, its not that bad. We could party up to tackle the Heroic dungeons and quest together in small groups and get together to do the later Operations in groups of up to 25 players. Not to mention, who doesn't want to be able to play as a Jedi or Sith?

    Overview:
You can find an overview of the game on the game's official website here.

    Pros:
Free To Play (F2P): You do not need a subscription in order to pick up this game. Movie-Quality Voice Acting: The voice acting in this game is amazing. It makes you feel like you are part of one of the Star Wars episodes. Many Story Branches: You can actively shape the base story in many ways. Standard MMO Mechanics: If you have played WoW, you should be at home with the some of the mechanics in this game. This could be a pro or a con. New Expansion on the Way: SWTOR has had one major expansion (Rise of the Hutt Cartel) which requres you to pay an extra $10 (one time) purchase.  In early December, subscribers will begin to have access to the newest digital expansion, which is free (Yay!) called Galactic Starfighter. The meat and bones of that expansion is essentially space dogfighting, at least according to BioWare (We'd just have to see if that holds). There are also certain events, such as Bounty Contract Week and the arrival of the Gree ships which add more content to the game.
    Cons:
Serious Crutch for Non-Subscribers: F2P players and Preferred players (those that made a carte market purchase), are really restricted unless they buy the right to say, wear Artifact (most powerful type) armor and even have more than 350,000 credits accumulated per character. A full list of these restrictions is located here. Class Balancing needs Balancing: Throughout the life of this game, BioWare has tried repeatedly to "balance" class abilities for PVP. One of the instances where this has failed, according to the consensus of the SWTOR community is on the Patch 2.0 update. The patch severely buffed some classes, while nerfing others, namely Mercs/PT. They need to understand that balancing the classes does not mean "uber nerf" one or two of them for the sake of improving the others by comparison. Rise of the Hutt Cartel: There were serious expectations for this expansion, and not many were met. RoTHC leaves a lot to be desired, especially for a $10 expansion. Cartel Market: I find the cartel market to be one of the reasons why people sometimes say this game is pay-to-win. If you want to have more than 4-5 rows of space in inventory, you have to dish out cartel coins for it. There are also the armor sets they tend to release as part of one of the cartel packs. Those armor sets are adaptive, meaning you can install modifications and enchantments into them and they will mimic the most powerful armor type wearable by your class. The only way to really get adaptive armor w/o the cartel market is doing certain heroic dungeons, flashpoints and bonus questlines for the actual planets.
Please feel free to add your input about the game as a reply!

Just for the record, that just meant that you ddin't have any strikes on you, rather than have 10+ reputation points.

As others have said, the community is almost brand new. We need to give time for the systems to be tweaked and polished. Also, as some have said, just adding a dislike button could be a channel for abuse. The staff looks for quality over quantity for sure.

Yeah, this was definitely not the best way to go around this. Also, just because your suggestion for CS:GO was deleted, it doesn't mean that the council Is trying to stuff BF4 doen people's throats like you said. In addition, it wasn't the only thread asking for official servers for the game.
If you want to know why your thread got deleted, you should have asked a commander or officer in private, instead of bashing the council and officers, which is technically a breach of the Code of Conduct of the site.
In short, please don't jump to conclusions and be civil when these things happen.

  25. Oxyorum liked a post in a topic by Unresolute in AngryJoe please dont stop streaming!
Ok, so i dont know how many of you watched AJ's stream last night, but if you did you would knew that he got really pissed off at one point at what people were writing in the chat and said "Im never streaming gameplay again btw". Here is the link to when it happens: http://www.twitch.tv/m/308835

Now lemme give you a bit of backstory. So Joe was really tired, the game was at a really repetitive scene, and he died couple of times and seemed abit upset. At some point Joe meleed a explosive spider out of boredom at this smartass from the chat says something like : he says he knows so much about the game and he just meleed an explosive spider... Of course that pissed off Joe so he tells the guy hes being a smartass and that they should stop, after which some more trolls start saying: "Unfair review incoming". Now that completely pissed Joe off after which he said that hes not gonna stream gameplay again.

After that Joe explains how he cant ignore the trolls and he cares about what everyone thinks and he cant shut himself off for the negative comments. Link: http://www.twitch.tv/m/308872
And I respect that, the man loves his followers and cares about them, however, Joe if you are reading this lemme tell you something right now, ive seen many streams, for all sorts of games, and not matter the game, be it LoL, WoW, Dota, Hearthstone or any other singleplayer game, EVERY SINGLE ONE has the same problem. I swear, there is NO STREAM that doesnt have stupid people bitching about stupid stuff, that doesnt have trolls wanting to ruin the fun. And since you cant ignore them i have a suggestion.

Now, i dont know how many mods you currently have on twitch, but it definitely isnt enough. What you need is atleast 2 or more mods always online when u are streaming. And these mods cant be afraid of banning people. I recommend starting with 500 second bans if somebody says something stupid, followed with a much longer ban, and than if he still talks shit permament ban.

Just wanted to say, streaming is a great way to connect with your army man, and it would be stupid to stop it just because of some minor problems that can be solved simply with more mods in your chat. And even tho we did run into some problems with the haters, and you were super tired, I still had tons of fun watching your stream and I sure hope you never stop streaming, and actually start doing it more often, cuz you are super fun to watch.

Sorry for the long post, but i just had to say this!
