Im going to say about quantun break being on windows 10, yes it wont be on steam which is disappointing  but valve have been running a near monopoly over the pc gaming market much in the same way nvidia owning  80% of the GPU market, and valve need competition on the pc market and there is with the witcher 3 selling more copies on GOG than they are on steam. so in this case im ok with quantum break being on windows store

I'm going ahead and say I like payday 2 and don't get me wrong it's still good but in the current state it has been since day one of this years crimefest it does not look like may last for too long, along with other issues and concerns the payday community because of overkills actions in the past year
    Spring break event
    http://www.overkillsoftware.com/thehypetrain/
I'll start of in March when they announced the hype train which was basically a Kickstarter stretch goal for dlc that was held for ransom this really upset for payday community because there was a chance that the may not reach the goals and never get the content in fact they had to put their hype fuel (which were for reaching to the goals) behind hotline Miami 2 pre orders that's how bad it was doing because a part of the community wasn't going to participate in this, and even two of the stretch goals were terrible ideas because one of them was exclusive to American players and one of them is a tournament for a coop PVE game.
    The steam market update
    http://www.overkillsoftware.com/games/blackmarket/
Now we come to yesterday where overkill announced that they copy and pasted counter strikes global offensives ideas of microtransactions crates/safes and keys/drills to the colour of the rarity of each weapon skin, even having a button to inspect the weapon and making them worse by giving the weapon skins stat bonuses which is objectively a pay 2 win feature. As a matter of fact they stated that this game wouldn't have any microtransactions back when it launched

This has completely blown my mind on how that could be considered acceptable by overkill and it completely sad for a developer like overkill to just have a awful year due to these bad business decisions.
I'll leave you guys with some other complaints that others have raises from the steam payday 2 forum/sub reddit over the years but these were just the two major incidents with overkill in 2015

microsoft have to be buying more than just one IP for just 1 billion if the rumours are true if it was to buy kojima productions, metal gear series, and silent hills, (and if they wanted to zone of the enders) maybe the rumour would be more reasonable compare to just buying one IP

ive been thinking about this topic when i saw my nephews 3ds  games and got some old ds game and the library is literately knock off games and licensed tv game and all i can think of is they're not good and it made me think about how many times parents often say its a kids game so why are you criticizing it and the excuse is so bad it get me frustrated at times.
A great example when people can use this excuse is the sonic boom games people know its horrible has so many bugs and glitches the terrible frame rate and there always going to be that one person who say its meant for kids as if that makes the game exempt from any criticism. just because its for kids doesn't mean the game should lose any standards on what makes a good game. i feel like topics like these should be talked about more in gaming communities and we should make parents more aware of what games to get and what not to get

So the people who made the payday series are close to reaching over 1 million members on their official steam group, so they are planning a "crimefest" on october 18th, as is the day the payday series turns 3 years old, but they want 1.5 million members beforehand, and for each milestone they reach, they give the players really cool content in return, please help us reach 1.5 mil before october 18th!

  11. Alexander452 liked a post in a topic by Johnster4 in Destiny for PC Movement
Reason for this movement:  I’m a bungie fan and also I’m also a PC gamer who wants destiny to come to pc because along with likeminded PC gamers who want to play and support destiny on PC I don’t want to feel alienated by bungie and get felt left out of playing the game and I don’t want to get a next gen console just to be able to play that game when I could get it on steam. This movement is something ive been thinking of doing for a while.
What we want from this movement: this is a list of something that some people might agree with and some might don’t but these are some request that could be beneficial:

    1.       The pc version should come out around 2015-2016: this should be the release period for when bungie should develop a pc port
    2.       The port should not be rushed: if bungie plan on making a pc port they should take their time with key binding and hardware optimization.
    3.       Optimization for both Nvidia and AMD GPU’s: this is important because if people worry that that Destiny that it might not be optimized for AMD users while running fine for Nvidia users meaning the game could be unplayable for others.
    4.       Remove the 30 fps lock: the console version will be locked at 30 fps because they want everyone to have the same experience but for pc gaming 60 fps is the playable standard and pc gaming is not the same as console gaming
    5.       Linux/SteamOS Version: this request would questionable because it would depend on when steamOS is out of beta and how many people move from windows to SteamOS for pc gaming, if alot people do move to steam then a Linux version could be a possibility.
How to make bungie aware of the requset for the PC version:
My main method of doing this is by using twitter and tweeting out #DestinyforPC some people might say this method may or may not work but I want to see how far this method goes the become method is probably contacting bungie, and of course I want to do this in a reasonable manner nothing that could give this a negative reputation
When to start this movement: this is one part of the movement that needs to be taken into consideration because the best time to start this is two weeks after launch and to see whether the game is good or not because there could be a chance of the game could either get a positive or negative reception at launch.
If there are any suggestions that you can give to improve the idea please let me know.
