    Co-op on PS3

God of War Ascension has a great co-op with co-op weapons that become more powerful when working together and even a co-op 'predator style' arm wrestle Taunt incase they've got you pushing too many pencils.

Diablo 3 is good fun though I'd set the difficulty as high as possible for a real challenge.  The added bonus is you can play together on one console.

Dead space 3, not really scary but still a lot of fun playing together and trading weapon schematics. Again set the difficulty really high.

Space Marine Exterminatus horde mode, especially the chaos unleashed levels are amazing fun especially if you're a fan of the Warhammer 40K series.

GTA V Online is a huge disappointment for me. I'm not one of the people raging about the launch, I don't care about that, I waited for a few patches to come out until it works fine, but the gameplay itself sucks. You walk around the city with other 15 people, and everytime you encounter someone he immediatly starts shooting you or ramming you over with a car. No one tries to socialize or do anything fun, and if they do, they will still kill you after a minute or two. The missions are horrible, nobody cares that you have over 500 missions when all of them are : "Go there, get that, kill him, come back". So one time you need to fetch a truck and the other time you need to kill two bike riders, well.. these type of missions got boring somewhere in the middle of the singleplayer campaign. The money system is totally unbalanced too, you don't get much money for missions and you lose it very quickly on deathmatches or buying ammo. The only way I see for GTA Online being fun, is by playing on a private, closed server with a couple of friends and just roaming around. For that they could've just let us get on a three people game with Trevor, Michael and Franklin and that's it. The character creation is horrible too, everyone looks like a drug addict or something like that.
GTA Online is really disappointing and I feel bad about it because when I bought the game, I thought "This will be my main multiplayer game for this year, not Battlefield or CoD, this will be a new, enjoyable, refreshing multiplayer experience", and nope, that didn't happen.

I just looked at the clock and realized I have been browsing/reading the forums for like 2 hours now, and it's not the first time. The other night I spent at least 4 hours on here.
Are you addicted to the forums? Am I just a sad lonely man? Have you put off other things to look at the forums?

DAMN YOU ANGRY JOE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING GAMES NOT READING ABOUT THEM!!!!!
  5. Faceless liked a post in a topic by Bast50 in Only one pissed off at EA?
I think this whole "voted as the worst company" thing is exagerated, its voted online which means its mostly angry gamers voting, and the EA bashing has been going on since 2002 lol. Lets be honest for a minute, all the shitty stuff they do, other companies are just as guilty but it seems a lot easier to say "I hate EA" then "I hate Capcom" "I hate Activision".
Bottom Line for EA, and pretty much everyone else in the world is money. Put yourself in their shoes... would you be pious and generous and give tons of free DLC or would you want to make more money. I'm not excusing what they do, but  I also know no1 ever does anything for nothing.
  6. rairoken16 liked a post in a topic by Faceless in Subscription, Buy 2 Play or Free 2 Play, which is better?
I totally understand that. If the amount of time bought wasn't real time but rather buying 'X' amount of hours that only get used when you actually play the game it wouldn't be so bad. A game should be so addictive I play because I WANT to not because I feel I NEED to.
  7. RetroRanter liked a post in a topic by Faceless in How many of you guys read most or everyone's comments in threads?
It depends. The majority of the time I read it all but if it's 10+ pages i skim past the one word answers and usually look for quoted replies.
  8. Faceless liked a post in a topic by Nytefury in What is one thing that really annoys you about "the internet"
Well you pretty much stated the one main problem with the internet, anonymity.

I remember reading one case (I am going off memory so don't jump down my throat if I'm not 100% accurate) but it went along the lines of some guy got fired from his government job because people found out he was this really seedy character online by promoting snuff content etc. He claimed it was completely unfair that he got fired.... Really? You are a low life and you get found out, thus can't hide behind anonymity so you can pretend you're a nice guy? Get real.

While I wouldn't necessarily want any of you coming to my work place and saying to my bosses "Hey that's Nytefury from AJSA" (not that they would have a clue what that sentence even meant), at the end of the day I don't really have anything to be ashamed of that I would have to quit my work (or be fired) and move house.

Should we have privacy? Sure. But when you are doing things that negatively impacts others and the community at large, then there needs to be some accountability, of which currently on the internet there is almost none.

If you act like a total Ahole on the net, and in real life you are a nice person, I have to wonder which one is the real you, because I tend to lean towards the one that is unleashed when no one is looking.

Hmm when I think about it... maybe Animal Crossing: New Leaf. If somebody would see me playing this... it would be a funny contrast of 6'7" long haired, bearded guy with metal shirt etc and a cute looking village which he is managing
  10. Faceless liked a post in a topic by Judge Lazar in What Game is your guilty pleasure?
Warhammer 40k Space Marine.  They made a lot of big promises for that game, showed things in the trailers they said would be in the game, then took half of it out without telling anyone.  I always harp and complain about it, but even though it's not a great game it had it's moments
  11. Faceless liked a post in a topic by RetroRanter in Could there be an EPIC Superman game?
i fully agree with that like you said if you could gather enough fans backing people with know how and alot of time im guessing the community could make one hell of a Superman game and if it was the AJSA community doing it wed have to throw a Joe themed costume in for good measure XD

I'm going to be waiting for it to go Free 2 Play. On Consoles it's almost inevitable.
I have a feeling Destiny will crush it as it's Free 2 Play at Launch.
  15. Faceless liked a post in a topic by RayLionheart in Do video games impact health?
Videogames can be a very healthy experience.
Facts are (Check them out on google if you want to)

-increased dexteriy (Tests on surgeons who performed 35% better than non playing in average while being 25% faster)
-Education (90% of things can be remembered in a simulation, while on 10% when reading the information in a book)
-Physiotherapy (Games where you have to move help people with parkinson. 55% of participants had increased overall movement ability)
-Anti-Stress (Cortisol is produced about 17% less while playing video games, reducing the overall strain on the body more than 50%)
-Multitasking (Gamers can focus on 6 things, non-gamer on 4 (average); gamers are 20% better in perception tests)
-Improved Sight (Some hours of gaming a day shows an increase of up to 20%)
    -Realationships (Two out of Three couples state that playing games together has a positive effect on their realationship {I can confirm this myself}
-Pain reliever (Pain tolerance is increased up to 66% when haveing played violent games for an extended period of time)
-Increased IQ (Up to an incease of 50% in overall capabilities of your brain; children develope a bigger pallium)
-Better reaction time (Hardcore-gamers can have the same reflexes a fighter-jet-pilot has.)

Those are my Top Ten 10 Reasons Videogaming is healthy. Any more suggestions? :3
  16. Faceless liked a post in a topic by Scout in Are you religious?
I'm really not sure why you posted this other than to tell other people that their views are, IN YOUR OPINION, ignorant. All religious discussions up to this point (for the most part) have been very respectful. You seem to be the only one getting out of sorts about people expressing a differing viewpoint. Especially since the majority of those views have been clearly worded to to make sure that others understood that this was clearly a personal stance.
Whereas YOUR posts have been worded clearly to try and force your viewpoint (lest we all get reported apparently)... and let's be clear here.. Yours IS a 'viewpoint'.
I have books on Buddhism, Islam and Shinto in my home. I'm NONE of these religions. But I'm not so narrow minded that I would feel threatened to learn more about them.
If someone sharing what or how they believe in a respectful way makes you uncomfortable, then maybe you should stay away from this thread.

    I'm an atheist myself.
I don't want to insult anybody, but I honestly think believing in a religion is like telling somebody to hold your own brain for you, instead of thinking for yourself.
  18. Jinzuro liked a post in a topic by Faceless in What are your thoughts on Valve's Steam Box?
It looks pretty good and a nice viable alternative.
I just think the window for a good launch is closing. They have until about mid-2014 by which time I feel many will have already decided and bought their next gen console of choice
I'm not saying it won't sell after that, I'm just saying I don't think it will sell as well, which would be a shame.
If it's out by March/April next Year I may end up getting it over a PS4.
  19. Faceless liked a post in a topic by Twisted Chi in What was that 1 game that was perfect from the Beginning to End?
Journey. It is just an experience in itself and holds a very special place in my heart
  20. RetroRanter liked a post in a topic by Faceless in Could there be an EPIC Superman game?
You could have like a fast travel levelling tree that makes you faster at getting to locations so the time to get there in is extended on the final branch of that tree would be the rewind time thing.
A Superman game is totally doable if you're a fan and you have the imagination for it.
  21. RetroRanter liked a post in a topic by Faceless in Could there be an EPIC Superman game?
As for the open world thing Destiny is creating the entire Solar system for it's game.

Flying to locations would most likely be fast travel.  You could fly into space and look down on the world and hear/see several events and have to make a judgement call. This would start off a just Smallville then expand to Metropolis then the World. Each event could have a timer so depending on how long you take will affect how many you can actually do. It's at this point we see one of Superman's real weaknesses like in Man of Steel, he can't be everywhere at the same time. There would be consequences to your actions. Fail to get there in time and the challenge becomes harder, the public/media treat you differently and so on. On next Gen I think doing multiple locations on Earth won't be beyond possible.

As for being OP Superman's villains have always been a real challenge for him, some even being far more powerful than he is. They really just need a dedicated team full of Superman fans and several Years.
  22. RetroRanter liked a post in a topic by Faceless in Could there be an EPIC Superman game?
In the right hands I think it could be better than Batman. The most interesting proposal I heard for a Superman game would be starting with the entire origin story. You could then progress and your powers becoming gradually stronger over time and new abilities opening up would make perfect sense.

Personally I think after Batman Rocksteady should make a Predator game, how cool would that be?
Maybe someone should make a mod for Arkham City?

ah now thats another great idea you'd start out like a normal guy then build yourself to real Superman status that's pretty epic and man reading your reply i genuinely went oh hell yes! a predator game would be amazing even as you said a mod would be great but a full blown game yes please!
