  1. I'd like to try out for Demo Steam name is Ugly Goldfish
  2. Dope
  3. I would like to try out as Demo
  4. I just typed up a really nice paragraph for this and then Chrome decides to crap out on me and I lose everything... thanks Windows 10. Well here we go again. I've wanted to get more involved with the AJSA for a while now and TF2 would be the perfect game for me. I started playing today (what a coincidence amirite) in 2010 and since clocked about 950 hours of which almost all are actual play time (screw idlers). I main Demo with about 150 hours on him alone and my favorite weapon has to be the Winbomb Launcher aka the Stickybomb Launcher. I would consider myself quite a bit above average but nowhere near as good as some competitive people that I meet in pugs every once in a while. For that I don't play nearly as frequently enough. I also enjoy offclassing as Medic, Scout and Sniper. Occasionally also as Spy but I'm horrible. I am a PC gamer even though I do have a PS3 and am planing on getting a Wii U and so I also love to play other games besides TF2 of course. One of my other favorites is Kerbal Space Program where I currently am sinking hours of my spare time into a modded Career Mode safe. I also came up with the stupid idea of unlocking every Assignment in Battlefield 4 which has been taking up a good chunk of my last couple of weeks. Other games I am really looking forward to picking up are Deus Ex Mankind Devided, Star Wars Battlefront and Fallout 4. I hope this is what you were looking for when you asked for applications and if there's anything else you would like to know please feel free to ask.
  5. I think some form of competitive MVM would be cool. 2 teams face off while being supported by an army of Robots. There will still be upgrades but are much less ridiculous than in normal MVM and are mostly for buffing and upgrading the Robots. I would like to see asymmetric gamemodes like Attack and Defend or Payload where the attacking team needs to capture objectives to earn money while the other team get's money by defending. The money can be spent on either weapon or robot upgrades or waves of special robots like Giants or maybe even Major Crits.

  7. I don't thin I'll have time to play this Saturday but I will definitely try to participate in future events. Hope you guys have fun
  8. I'd love some highlander or some casual custom games. I don't think I will have time to play on a official AJSA team or something like that. Also time wise weekends are generally good for me we just need to make sure that it works with the timezone difference between Europe and the US (I assume most AJSA members are from those continents).
  9. Hope you get it fixed soon.
  10. First make sure your PC can run the game but considering that the game is from 2007 this is probably not the case. I think it would be best to contact Valve Support about this issue. I had good experiences with them and they will most definitely help you out.
  11. Hey guys If you're like me and you enjoy Star Wars, I would suggest checking out Star Wars Ascendancy. It is a SW mod for Sins Of A Solar Empire: Rebellion that I had my eyes on for a while now and pretty much the reason why I bought Sins. But enough talk, here's a tralier! And if you want to see some gameplay here's a let's play by the devs. I can't wait to try it out myself and I will probably waste most of my weekend with this. Also you might have noticed that it is the same people who made Thrawn's Revenge mod for Empire at War. And finally here's a link to the download: http://thrawnsrevenge.com/forums/index.php?topic=5301.msg51301#msg51301\ Hope you enjoy!
  12. Hello fellow Mercenaries. I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and I hope that it just got a little better because Smissmas is here! Obligatory link to blog post: http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=15304 So in this update we get a new beta gamemode with powerups and grappling hooks. I'm a little skeptical about it but it seems like it could be fun for at least a little while. I am just afraid that it might be a little too far off the original TF2 formula that we all love an cherish. Now to the new weapons. Valve sure does love the Demoman... For at least the last three weapon additions, there has been at least one new weapon for the Demoman. I main Demo so I am not complaining but I feel like other classes are being left out, such as heavy and spy. To the weapons themselves I am satisfied. I don't think I'm gonna be using them a lot but they seem to have their place. The Iron Bomber increases the Demo's range. The Quickiebomb seems a little useless though since I can't think of a situation in which I would chose that over the stock Sticky Launcher. I don't know what to think of the new shotgun since I barely play classes that use one. For the Demo nerf, I welcome it. The Stickylauncher is way to OP and this nerf seems fair. Same thing with the Tide Turner. And lastly the cosmetics. Unfortunately I did not have had a chance to check them out yet so I'll be commenting on those later. But I probably will not go out of my way to obtain one since I am not super huge on seasonal gear. What do you guys think?
  13. MVM is a team game. One person can hardly carry the entire team. You will just have to get lucky and get a good team to beat those levels... I suppose you could give them friendly advise on how to play their class. Like tell the engies where to put their buildings or tell people what weapons to use and what upgrades to get but there's not much more you can do and hope they listen.
  14. All I know is that we were promised a map and all we got was ducks that you can't even use unless you pay, a stock melee weapon reskin and some mediocre cosmetics.... I am very disappointed but at least I got a couple laughs out of the video.
  15. That's a pretty cool use of your Name and Description tags but I still judge everyone that uses the Phlog. Including Phil.
