  1. Hey everyone! I've finally returned to the AJSA forums. I'm not sure why I haven't been too active on here, but I guess I've just been too busy being active elsewhere. I wanted to at least return to promote this content in particular, because this video is only 5 minutes long and is a pretty relevant topic these days. It's about pre orders and my thoughts on them! If you're interested, just check out the video below. You may leave your thoughts/comments on this forum thread, but you should definitely go to the video page itself to do so! Check out my channel too, if you want, you might like what I have to offer over there. If not, then that's fine too!
  2. Finally, I released a new episode for this particular and unique video series! I hope you guys are enjoying it so far, because it certainly is fun examining my older stuff from over a year ago!
  3. Both have excellent potential to be great. I extensively watched gameplay footage, which were about 20 minutes each, and I arrived at the decision to pre order Alien: Isolation. Mostly for the lower price, being an Aliens fan, and the fact that Green Man Gaming is so amazing that I could use a 25% off coupon on the pre order price. I was about to pre order The Evil Within (based on the pedigree of the devs), but I guess I'll wait to get it. Keep in mind that this was a very difficult decision on my part, and it will be for many others. Creative Assembly is making Alien: Isolation, and they have a mostly good pedigree too, the only concern is them stepping away from what they are used to making, which is the Total War games.
  4. From what I can tell, all of those games are perfectly fine and very fun (I played them all, except Watch Dogs, and am currently playing Destiny). Destiny is also a great game, but it has a few major flaws, and one of them being that it can get very tedious if you play the same game mode or explore the same location too many times. I highly reccomend lowering your hype or expectations when pre ordering a game or buying a new game. However, I respect your opinions and perhaps there is some sort of weird conspiracy. Mostly game journalism being a screwed up mess! Most of the pre order decisions I make are informed decisions, as I check out videos on YouTube about the game before it's released, and watched "The Good, Bad, and Ugly" video about Destiny before pre ordering it.
  5. Infamous: Second Son is the game that gets me most interested in the Playstation 4! Beautiful visuals, awesome open world gameplay, badass powers, and some of the best particle effects I've ever seen in a game. Definitely a great game to get the PS4 for, but I'm sure there's more out there, including upcoming games!
  6. How about they offer a free (or discounted) Playstation 4 if I'm buying a physical copy for Playstation 3? I cannot afford a Playstation 4, and I'm concerned. What if Playstation 3 and 4 players cannot play together, despite the servers being similiar (being on the same network)? The Playstation 3 player community, if it's not connected to the Playstation 4 community, might be too small! However, I'm sure they won't screw this up. If they do screw it up, that's like saying PC gamers can't play together simply because they have different hardware from eachother!
  7. Hey Angry Army! How's the battle for our passion, video games, going? Well, I came back because I have something special to promote here. As awesome as Let's Play videos are, especially to me, and as much as I try to put a spin on them, I decided to promote something different. How about you join me to watch me watching my older videos? That's right, that is what my "Let's Watch" series is! It's only 2 episodes currently, but as new ones are uploaded I will make sure to post them into this very thread. Angry Army, show that love and that support for me, an ever improving YouTube Gamer!
  8. Me and my strange sense of humor, I found that video absolutely HYSTERICAL! XD Well, let's be fair here, the new CoD actually looks like a fantastic change of pace and has quite a few differences to the usual formula. But that might just be my opinion, although I'd like to think it best represents what I saw in the gameplay trailer for multiplayer.
  9. I miss Angry Joe's reviews too, his best review being about Ride to Hell: Retribution! But, patience is the key here, and making assumptions about the future of this community, the YouTube channel, and Angry Joe himself isn't going to help anything. Keeping the army strong is our duty as members of the AJSA, and Joe himself is very likely extremely busy with things. Community events for games are still going on, and I just participated in a Battlefield 4 event on PC just about a week ago. Complaining about the state of Joe and his reviews isn't what a AJSA member does!
  10. I feel your pain, but at this point I'm not sure if I really care anymore. I grew up with Sega Genesis, and it had so many memories for me, but right now Sega is just in limbo currently. If they don't step it up, they are going to fall REALLY HARD! As for that statement about good games not deserving sequels. That's definitely a bold statement, and it might make a few people mad! There are tons of great games that got sequels that are also great, like Bioshock for instance. However, what you really mean is this: Why do we keep getting sequels to dead or terrible franchises? Well, there clearly is a market for these games, even the bad Sonic games that came out recently, and I'm not sure who is buying enough of these games to keep Sega afloat. Unless Sega is getting money handouts to keep making these games!
  11. Actually, the players who anger me the most are the ones who continue to insist that the game they are playing is crappy yet they are playing it still and continue to play it. These types of players always complain about "netcode", "hit detection", and other things while everyone else is having fun. They tend to get extremely try hard if they are doing poorly, and like to make hackusations! Those types of players really get to me! I just so happen to love Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4, so I cannot stand hearing how "crappy" it is from people who have nothing else "better" to play because they don't go looking for it.
  12. Oh, this is a great thread! I'll answer right away! There is a lot to list, so I'll organize it nicely for you guys! For the Sega Genesis, my most favorite games that I played are as follows: Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (and Knuckles), Dynamite Headdy, Soldiers of Fortune, Columns, Ecco the Tides of Time, James Pond series, and Sonic the Hedgehog. For the Super Nintendo, my most favorite games that I played are as follows: Final Fantasy series, Super Metroid, The Great Circus Mystery starring Mickey Mouse, Donkey Kong Country series, Demon's Crest, Chrono Trigger, Megaman X series, and Zombies Ate my Neighbours!. As for PC games, I'd definitely put the Doom series, Quake series, and Duke Nukem 3D up there as my childhood favorites!
  13. God damn, FNaF is a terrifying gem! I started a video series myself, but you won't see me promoting it here because I'm not an idiot. FNaf is getting very popular now, and I'm glad to see that it is. It's a new take on horror, a sort of "stationary/idle/towerdefensewithouttowers" take on it! I can't wait to see what this game leads to!
  14. Hey fellow Angry Joe Army members! I'm back with my usual promotion antics, but this will be the last time I'll do it, at least for THIS thread. Because I finally completed my Wolfenstein 2009 playthrough! It was all in celebration of the fantastic Wolfenstein: The New Order game, but I still wish Angry Joe actually reviewed the game. I know I love Wolfenstein: The New Order! But, I can't seem to do it for a Let's Play because it seems to react poorly to being recorded, going at 10 or 5 frames per second. Maybe even less frames than those! So, sadly, there might not be a Wolfenstein: The New Order playthrough. For now, please enjoy the remaining two episodes of this playthrough!
  15. I have another new episode of my Wolfenstein playthrough to post here at the Angry Joe Army HQ! If there is anyone out there who is watching my videos, thank you very very much, I appreciate it. I hope I will continue to grow and succeed in due time!
