Video games, movies, Marvel comic books, and some TV shows.
  1. I mean, when I played it back in June on my first gen PS3 it took a few minutes for the game to load, but once I was in, I was in, and I had no problems after that.
  2. "Die Monster! You don't belong in this world!" "What is a man? Nothing but a filthy little pile of secrets! But enough talk, have at you!"
  3. I'm a bit of a younger gamer, so I'm going to have to say 2007. Mass Effect, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Super Mario Galaxy, Rock Band, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted. Just a year full of great games.
  4. I haven't played the Spider-Man movie games in a long time, but I thought Venom in Spider-Man 3 was far more annoying than Ock in SM2.
  5. Well, I do think some of the games are weak, yeah, but let's not rule out strong ones either. Some of the PS4 indie titles are worthwhile, and as a big fan of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 3 is right up my alley. Obviously there isn't a whole lot yet, but like with all consoles, you need to give it some time to get the ball rolling. By possibly the end of next year, next gen consoles get to look forward to Titanfall, Uncharted, Sunset Overdrive, Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes, Destiny, and that's just a start. Now, they aren't all exclusives, and some are even on last gen consoles, but these games will truly be the next gen experiences I think. So I'd hold out for that.
  6. Besides some of the ones already selected how about FTL? The exploration music has a resonating tone, letting you know how truly empty a void space really is. It's hauntingly beautiful, and still gives me chills.
  7. In retrospect, the ending is only extremely disappointing if you waited over 2 years to play the game and didn't expect it. When you aren't waiting for the game and you know the ending blows it's only pretty disappointing as opposed to extremely disappointing.
  8. It's very recent, but I was trying Infinity Mode in the original Dead Rising to get the last two achievements I needed, 5 day and 7 day survivor. I made it past day 5 and was close to finishing day 6. I was staring at my game, ready to eat another piece of food so Frank wouldn't starve to death, and I get lost in thought for less than 5 seconds, and Frank keels over dead from me not pressing X. That made me flip my fucking shit.
  9. Not really a remake, but I would love to see Castlevania 1-4 get re-released on PSN or XBL. Symphony of the Night gets too much love, give me Super Castlevania damn it.
  10. Rarely have I played a good movie game. The last really good one was Spider-Man 2 on PS2. There have been average ones here and there, but none really stand out. Since I'm a Spider-Man fan, I'll be playing the new Spider-Man game that accompanies the movie. I doubt it will be any good, but I can hope they'll one day make a game deserving of Spider-Man.
  11. 9/10 Reminds me of HIDEO FREAKIN' KOJIMA, so of course I like it
  12. Since I see a lot of Vaas love on this forum, I'm curious, is anyone here not such a big fan of him? I mean, I think the performance was pretty good, and it was one of the better parts of Far Cry 3, but I kind of feel like the character gets a little too much credit. Am I alone in this one?
  13. "Organic life is nothing but a genetic mutation, an accident. Your lives are measured in years and decades. You wither, and die. We are eternal, the pinnacle of evolution and existence. Before us, you are nothing. Your extinction is inevitable. We are the end of everything." - Sovereign, Mass Effect Gives me chills every time.
  14. It's hard to remember horrible games because they just kind of fall into a pile of crap inside my mind and all blend together. If I had to pick a few, Lost Planet 2, Brink, and Magicka come to mind. Lost Planet 2 was such a drag to play, even in coop. Everything just felt the same. Same with Magicka, the game seems ridiculously spam happy, and then it crashes constantly. And Brink was just an all around disappointment in every way.
