  1. Welcome.
  2. As much as I enjoy having my love-hate relationship with Destiny, I am kind of excited, but also skeptical. The fact Bungie pulled a fast one over us still remains fresh in my mind -- especially as I pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Guardian edition, just to find a 5 hour story line filled with more questions and poor character development. Not to mention the story sucked. I'll play the expansions, after all I did pay for them, so why not? Maybe get some good gear or whatnot. But I mean, Destiny is a poor MMORPGFPS-FOUSDYSD whatevers, anyway. No open world. No communication outside of Crucible matches, no RP (gotta love dat RP), no crafting, and rages. Though, I'll give it to them. Vault of Glass gave me a nice two weeks of something to work towards.
  3. There was a father, a mother, and a son who lived on a farm. The father and son never got along and never agreed upon anything. One night, the father and son got into a huge argument, and the son ran away, his whereabouts unknown. As the War drew closer to the father's home, he felt obligated to aid in it's defense, and joined the Confederate Army. The brigade he was in was ordered to cut off an approaching Union Army, headed towards their local headquarters. The Union Army was ambushed, and fighting went on for days. Finally, a cease fire broke out, both sides low on ammunition and will to go on. Each side stayed where they were, until one night, the father heard movement ahead of him. It was dark and he could not see, so he fired into the night where he thought an enemy was. He heard a loud yell, confirming his hit. However, the Union soldier was still alive, and the father could hear his rasping breath. Seeking to finish him off, he crawled towards the body. The soldier was on his stomach, so the father turned him over. It was a gut wound. The eyes of the father's son looked up to him. The instant each other recognized one another, the life fled from the son's eyes, leaving the father weeping uncontrollably. In peace, sons lose their fathers. In war, fathers lose their sons. ---- Kinda random, but I liked writing it.
  4. Battleground Europe is a game I have just started playing. It is a military simulation game much like ArmA II but is more complex and has a much larger map. It is a free to play game (has subscription options to get access to more equipment/vehicles) that was developed in 2001, so the graphics are very outdated. You can choose from four factions - American, French, German, and British - and within those factions are three military branches you choose: Army, Navy, and Airforce. Each branch plays it's own realistic role in the war and are all very challenging. For example, in order to fly a plane you need to check your plane, start your engine a certain way, and taking off is pretty challenging (needs a controller). Driving a tank is equally as challenging if you attempt to drive alone as it requires you to move about the interior to control certain things like cannon, machine guns, and driving capabilities. If that wasn't any more confusing, wait til you see how you're supposed to play. Basically you'll get an automated feed for your faction which informs you if an enemy is attacking a town, if your faction is attacking, defending, or reserving and what not. I still have a hard time navigating and understanding the damned thing. The game forces upon you to use teamwork and communicate which is very welcome by me. You can't run n' gun or go solo in this game, and can create a fun challenge. There is a very in-depth tutorial on controls, purpose of specific equipment, and general gameplay which I HIGHLY recommend you do and pay attention to.. it'll last a few hours. Overall, this game is very fun in my opinion and if you like the world war two era, challenges, and simulation games, I recommend you play... and I kind of want someone to play with. Here are some videos:
  5. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup.
  6. I've never seen any pay to win aspects of the game, imo. There are no ways to purchase "glory" by paying real cash for them. And PvP items require only glory. Not sure about the past, but today it is definitely not pay to win.
  7. I've been playing a lot of Neverwinter. You should check it out. : )
  8. I'll take it.
  9. Haven't we all discussed this already at least once in our lives thus far? Shit ain't gonna change. We'll still hate EA. People will still buy from EA. Because in the end, all we care about are the games, and if they're good or not.
  10. I'll check it out. Wanna link me?
  11. Here are a few extra beta keys for 8BitMMO! Use 'em if you care to join me. ZQVBA-BBTXN-XGKM4 LBK6Y-VLKIB-LIN5Q DZDF5-Q2Q7Z-VEWYL VXZAI-VED77-K5MW7 ZT70R-2LH90-33FQI
  12. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  13. The M&B combat is difficult, but it's actually realistic. I find it better than the traditional "press a button for combo" combat controls. It definitely takes awhile to master.
  14. Lol, well anyone can look similar to Lindsey Lohan. I mean, all you need to be is stupid, an addict, and get arrested a lot to be her. Who knew a person could be copyrighted.
  15. I have been trying to do a second play through for this game... but it's so hard and sad... I felt much like I did when I completed Mass Effect 3 and Shepard died.
  16. There was actually an issue with SEGA going after a Youtuber who posted a video of an old game they made and they fought hard to get it removed. I forget the name of the game, but game publishers do in fact have a part in this, too. Why else would Youtube be so stingy and restrictive with this content? Not only that, there have been problems from Advertisers who don't want their ads on some videos that may be inappropriate as they think it reflects badly on their product. Also, movie studios are also probably putting pressure on Youtube. Why? Well, search some full movies (Pearl Harbor for example) and count how many you see. Now, that's a problem for them. I'm not going to say Youtube is the good guy here, but they definitely have their reasons and it's a fault of both parties as Youtube should have a better code for this.
  17. Well, you know, the reason Youtube is doing this is because they're probably getting hassled by MANY game developing companies and publishers about reviewers using their content. And quite frankly, it'll easily back fire on those companies and corporations because, for me, I watch reviews on Youtube to help me make a good decision in purchasing a game. Not only that, these game reviewers (such as Angry Joe), are helping these companies make game sales for free. Assuming the game is actually good because if not, then I can see why they would want to throw a cover over it.
  18. I kill everyone and everything for the rest of the game if they kill me for no reason. >
  19. Thanks for taking the time to create an in-depth guide to War Thunder.
  20. "It's bigger than mine!" "Omg, it is!"
  21. All Bioshocks, every Borderlands, and the Call of Duty franchise.
  22. I thought EA scrapped it. :/
  23. I'm actually downloading it right now. But I've heard it's shit compared to older America's Army games.
  24. I hate CoD because it's a waste of money and time, and it's the developers saying "fuck you, fans" and proof that game developers can pull off making recycled games and earn a ton of $$$ for nothing. Since the first Modern Warfare the graphics have been, quite literally, the same. Right there, the recycled use of the same engine with zero improvements, is bullshit. Especially when they charge the same $60 for every title. Then the stories are shallow, unmemorable and the only characters you enjoy are Soap and Cpt. Price. I have never once played through a CoD game and enjoyed the story, at all. They hide all this shitty-ness by throwing massive explosions and destruction in your face, which unfortunately fools a lot of gamers into thinking the more explosions = best game ever. Now, the multiplayer is all that a CoD game is good for, apparently. This is why so many people buy it. I guarantee there are thousands of people who purchased the most recent CoD title (Ghosts) and have never played it's campaign. Sure, I guess it's fine. But the community is such shit with screaming kids all the time. If that wasn't worse, most maps are the same feel. You have slightly different UI and maybe one extra mode that the previous CoD didn't have, and the weapons are the same save a few cosmetic changes/add-ons. All this shit is recycled. Why do you think within 8 months to a year a new Call of Duty is released? That should be PROOF that they rush this shit because it's all recycled. I'm sure there is a different team working on Ghosts than the team who works on Black Ops, but they use the same tools. This is why I hate CoD. It's just a cash-in and the franchise has only been prolonged as it has because they make millions of dollars off of it.
