Mechwarrior Online is free to play game that is set in the BattleTech universe. This game enables the player to be able to pilot his or her favorite battlemech from the series that are currently available in the game’s time line. I feel that this game should be supported by the AJSA because this game appeals to both players who know of the battletech universe and those that don’t. For those that do know of it, the game follows a parallel time line to ours. Meaning that it’s 2013 here and 3050 in game, which just before the clan invasions start that bring in clan based Battlemechs as well as clan weapons. Then for those who do not know of the BattleTech universe it’s a great fun game where you get to customize your own walking tank known as a BattleMech to your own play stlye and work with your friends to destroy your opponents.
-Free to play, Not pay to win
-Every Battlemech has its own strengths and weaknesses.
(meaning no one Battlemech is over powered)
-You are able to customize your Battlemechs weapons to your play style
-They give you 4 trial Battlemechs for you to play and test out.
    (These change every so often.)
-All the regular non-hero Battlemechs can be bought with in game currency.
(hero Battlemechs are variants of standard Battlemechs that have been used by famous pilots in the BattleTech universe. These too have their own strengths and weaknesses)
-You are able to buy all the Battlemechs with real money as well
-Good in game tutorials as well as testing grounds for new weapon set ups.
-For now only 2 game modes.
-Solo queue can often lead to games where no one uses teamwork.
-Steep learning curve for every Battlemech.
    -No current clan system.
-Grinding the credits for the heavier Battlemech classes can take some time, and get boring after a while.
-No custom games or user created games, so you are stuck to 12v12 games.
