    The Master’s Datacron
Starting with ’A Traitor Among the Chiss’ (Game Update 5.6) on November 28th, there will be a new item introduced to the Cartel Market called the Master’s Datacron. This item will allow you to take any non-maximum level (70) character on your account and immediately move them up to maximum level. One unique thing about this boost is that it doesn’t progress your character’s story at all, meaning this is a great way to play through the classic Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ storylines without worrying about your character level!
The Master’s Datacron also comes with the Eternal Commander Equipment bundle. Once you have boosted to max level and chosen your character’s Discipline (more on this below), you can use the equipment bundle to have a full set of level 70 gear for your character. So, whether you are boosting a new level 1 character to play through the story, or you just want to get right to 70 to jump into group activities with your friends, the Master’s Datacron has everything you need.
Since this is the first time we have offered an item like this, find out more about how the item works below.
To start, you will need to acquire the Master’s Datacron and Equipment Bundle. You can purchase it directly from the Cartel Market for 2,000 CC, or you can check the Galactic Trade Network (GTN) to see if another player is selling one. Once you have them, you will need to ensure that they are moved to the character that you intend to boost. As a reminder, the Master’s Datacron will not work on an existing level 70 character.
Opening the bundle will grant your character two items, the Master’s Datacron and the Eternal Commander Equipment box. When you are ready to boost your character to max level, go ahead and right click on the Datacron in your inventory (make sure you are using it on the character you want to boost)! This will begin an eight second cast timer which says, “Promoting to level 70.” With the cast bar complete, you will receive two pop-ups confirming that this is the character that you want to boost. Note: This decision is final and irreversible.
Once confirmed, the screen will fade to white and you will be transported to your player ship, which you will be granted as a part of the Master’s Datacron if you don’t already have one. For those players who want to experience unlocking their ship naturally through the story, you’ll still be able to do so. While on your ship, you will notice a Mission in your log named “Master’s Datacron” with the text “Increasing level.” After a few seconds, that Mission will complete and your character will become level 70.
At this point, you should head to your Discipline window (default shortcut key of K) to choose your Class’s Discipline if you haven’t already. This is important as a Discipline is required to use the Eternal Commander’s Equipment box.
With your Discipline selected, head to your inventory and right click on the Equipment box. This will grant you a full set of gear, based on your chosen Discipline.
You’re all set! Your character is now max level and ready to roam the galaxy. You can see any Missions you were on previously in your Mission log. Feel free to continue your existing Missions or explore the galaxy!

I subbed that year he did the most reviews, then he started doing alot of console games or that was my opinion maybe I was wrong but that what it seemed to me. So I quit watching his channel, didnt unsub but wasnt interested in what he was reviewing, showing, and then he added that other guy, which I cant stand, and if he's on whatever Joe's talking about I close the video. Other Joe is cool beard guy isn't.

I think he might of went a bit overboard with his reaction video, and calling people entitled, I don't feel entitled. I just dont watch what I don't like. And to be honest there's been a lot of stuff over the past two years that I havent watched on his channel cause I don't want to watch that stuff. I also don't comment on his channel don't watch the Twitch or have a stupid twitter account.

He can do whatever he wants with his channel and I'll watch what I want to watch and skip all the rest. Get over it people!

I bought the game at launch and have barely touched it because almost all the slots in what was the AJSA guild at the time were given by Bast to his Twitch audience instead of AJSA members (People can say what they want about me bad mouthing a commander, won't change the fact that actually happened). I'll dig out my info and see about getting into this I think.

  11. Apex Spartan liked a post in a topic by Arreyanne in Why does the new Mass Effect seem to be getting so much flak?
I;m a little late to this party but 67 hours into the game I can now honestly give a fair review.

    1) It starts very slow; it reminds me of the first 7 levels in FFXIV, 10 hour to get to lvl 7 anyone, but thats a different game
If you're going for 100% complete it's going to take 2-3 hours before you get off, The main space station. After the gameplay increases exponentially.
    2) The default female's are some of the weirdest looking character in Gaming period. The default female Quanari in Dragon Age Inquisition look better
    3) The UI there are a lot of menus to go through to find what your looking for
    4) Leaving the space station the game picks up the pace and becomes much like ME2 in advancement.
    5) Female Ryder has a ton of one-liners if you select the right response, nowhere near as serious as FemShep
    6) Yes sometimes the facial animations leave you saying WTF And all the PC's and NPC's have what I consider dead eyes
    7) I miss the mass Relays but can live with the travel scenes they gave us in MEA
    8) Still not a fan of the Mako (Not what they call it this time) but it's easier to drive. A nice shuttle to hop around the planet like ME2 gave us launched from orbit would have suited me just fine
9)The skill system is improved I believe as you can become all or one of the classes in the Trilogy
    10) the romance options are ok but like previous game if you are doing side quest on a planet and not advancing the story arc the romance doesn't progress. In short the Flirt options go away until you advance either you compaion loyalty mission or advance the story, pfft
    11) Combat is pretty much as good as ME3 and ME2, cept you don't have elevated enemies a Vanguard cant get to like ME2

OH left my biggest gripe out.
    THERES NO QUICK SAVE

I give it a 8.5 out of ten. Disagree or agree thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

NOTE: this is a complete download again

right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location

open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below

    Quote: , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\" }"

    Change to:

    , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }"     Quote: , "bitraider_disable": false

    Change to:

, "bitraider_disable": true SAVE the changes.
Delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher.

or if you have the old version still on another computer , copy all the game folders over to this computer
edit - going BR to SSN is a complete re-download, going SSN to BR isn't

meaning - going from Bitraider to Regular is a full game download of the assets and movies
going from regular to Bitraider is not a full game download.

Also if BitRaider is showing in your programs locations when you go Control Panel to add and remove program it will also need to be removed and all Registry entry's removed.

Revo uninstaller is a good free program to remove stuff with

Okay, a much needed Letter to the FC:
Alright, well, the last two weeks have been interesting and not in a good way. We had a our first test dealing with a problem between players and while I thought it resolved for benefit of everyone, said issue came back again. This time resulting in decisions that left some of us upset, angry, or just fed up.

After tonight, Baliel is no longer associated with the AJSA Final Fantasy FC. I've found out he went back on what we agreed on and was picking Madoka again. Excluding her from dungeons by name. If that is not sound reason for me to be convinced he's not going to recant his ways, nothing will. When I demoted him and publicly called him out, he quit. He called me a few things on the way out, but honestly, it was going to be messy irregardless. HE IS NOT TO BE ALLOWED BACK.

The thing that gets me is that this happen over the course of the week and I've found out tonight what happen. We need to work on our communication more. We can't let things like this slip by without finding out whats going on. I am well aware that my schedule sucks and i'm not around as much as I would like to be on evenings when everything is going down. Thats why I have faith in my guild officers to help me out when I'm not there. This is an area that we need to work on. Not just to keep the Baliel's from running a muck, but to build each other up and  help us get through this frustrating moments. I want this FC to succeed and go beyond expectations.

We're going to have our share of growing pains, difficult players, and things happening we don't like. Only thing I can suggest is take a deep breath, remember that fun times are still ahead and we're in this together. We're the AJSA and we can ride out any conflict thrown our way; rather outside troubles or self-inflicted.

  24. Arreyanne liked a post in a topic by Demonbane775 in First Impressions on Blade and Soul
So I've been playing Blade and Soul for the past few days, getting on late at night to avoid the longer queues, and I want to share my impressions with you lot. Note this isn't a proper review, I haven't played the game NEARLY enough for that, but I wanted to get this out here.

First off, it's a VERY eastern game, with a LOT of eastern themes. I'm torn here. I really, really love skill-based MMOs, but I despise eastern stuff. Just personal preference. That's evident from the start, and given that I'd been watching the game for a while, I knew what I was getting into.

The character creation is VERY in-depth for an MMO. Hell, for most games that let you create characters, period. It's very versatile, and you shouldn't have a lot if trouble making your character look the way you want, even if you dislike the animoo googly eyes syndrome most of the characters in this game suffer from. Creator is versatile enough you can make the eyes normal. I had more fun with that character creator than I've had with the rest of the game so far. Default female proportions are absolutely ridiculous, with legs more than twice as long as their bodies in some cases, but again, the character creator is very versatile and you can fix the wonky proportions quite easily.

The cinematics are very good, well-animated for an MMO of any caliber. The opening cinematic is very well done, sort of reminiscent of a martial-arts movie- which, unfortunately, left me with higher expectations for the rest of the game then I should have had. Not that the game is poorly animated or isn't gorgeous, but it doesn't really live up to that amazing intro.

The game was obviously going for a sort of old samurai movie theme. Unfortunately, the story goes way too fast. You'll be introduced to several characters in the prelude, then whisked off to meet even more, then more, without any time to really get to know or care about them. This leaves the climax of the prelude (I'm trying my hardest not to spoil anything) to just sort of fall flat, since you were never really given a chance to give a shit about any of the characters you're seeing even though you're obviously meant to. Hell, I can't even remember any of their names more than a few seconds after I meet them. That's a running theme throughout the game, you'll be introduced to a character, they'll say a few lines, then you'll be bustled off to the next area before you can really get to know them enough to give a rat's ass. Hell, the story itself operates on this concept, introducing character after character and concept after concept but never giving you a chance to get familiar with anything. The factions, the Cerulean and Crimson orders, are a joke. Why are they fighting? what reason is there for any of it? "Oh well it's just the nobles versus the commoners, just pick whatever we don't really care." "Well I'd like to go with the commoners, I guess." "Fuck you commoners are full go with the blues." "....I guess I didn't really wanna join a faction that bad."

I have yet to see a single part of the world be explained. They just sort of push you along and expect you to know what's going on on your own.

"But Demon, what about the gameplay? That's usually the focal point of these kinds of MMO's."

I hate to break it to you, but from what I've seen of combat so far, BaS is PAINFULLY average. Neither of the two classes I've had a chance to play so far really stand out to me. It's not even really stand-out in skill-based MMO's, First of all, there's no dodge that I've seen. You either facetank as Destroyer or block as Blade Master. (Blade Master commits the cardinal sin of having the actual block be delayed until about a second after you press the appropriate button, you you can't block blows last second. Yes, the block is delayed. In a fast-paced action MMO. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs to be taken out back and shot.) I don't know about the other classes, but any action-MMO that doesn't have some sort of dodge for all classes immediately goes on my shit list. The combat is... sort of combo based? but they're really simple two-ability combos, as far as I've seen, and there's combos you can do with other people, but it's not really that cool. The gameplay is just really lackluster and feels the same as every other action-MMO i've ever played. Vindictus does it better, and TERA has a more interesting world and cooler races (And both of those games have a goddamn dodge). I don't really know what to tell you. It's pretty bog-standard, akin to a WoWclone over here in the states.

One last gripe. Unless you have your settings at max on everything, NPC hands become unrendered blocky lumps. Why, I don't know.

TL;DR: Blade and Soul has a pretty poor story and the gameplay is too bog-standard to make it stand out. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a massive weeb, from what I've seen so far.
